Thanks Minor - interesting. Scancell-wise, whilst I hope I am wrong, my expectations of progress with BioNTech on anything in Scancell is low. Its just an instinct but I would argue that they have been around Scancell for a long time but to no commercial avail - so far at least.

I have wondered if 'Covidity' would generate interest, in view of BioNTech / Pfizer experience/access to the covid vax market, but . . . . . .

WTP I think that's $208,000,000 per product commercialised, massive in terms of Scancell's funding history, to a maximum of $624,000,000 PLUS low single digit royalties on all products commercialised, not a max of 3 ?

The RNS - "Scancell to receive from Genmab an upfront payment as well as potential milestone payments of up to $208 million for each product developed and commercialised, up to a maximum of $624 million if Genmab develops and commercialises products across all defined modalities."

Bermuda, I think it was likely to have been mentioned in the 'snippet', if it was a different trial, but let's not debate that too.

To recap, it seems we have two interesting snippets - one Patient with H & N cancer and another Patient likely with H & N or Kidney cancer - that's two reports that Modi 1 might be working nicely.

For me this is very interesting and not likely to raise expectations which many of us already hold with some optimism do we not?

These heartfelt insights from the Patients are for me, good to see and no doubt they, the Patients will on reflection, will understand the interest here, given that we are invested in the Company that is providing this hope for them.

This snippet of news, has been presented as an interesting possibility NOT a fact. I doubt very much that anything I could ever post would be likely 'raising expectations ever higher' - it's just chatter in the public domain and as the trials progress, I think we will see many more of these snippets. Good.

And yes you are with respect, definitely on the case with your 3 line whip but I am entitled to discuss the point.

Yes Ivy I can see the case both ways. I'd been expecting a CBO to arrive. But perhaps Prof. Lindy as CEO will work. Just the thought that maybe the science will sell itself when we have the data, soon. Maybe the thinking is that another CH is not needed. As I said before, I could be wrong.

Re. 'a new Senior Director' that'll be the replacement mooted for RG as a 'Chief Business Officer'. I'm wondering if that is going to actually transpire now.

Scancell (atm) still have a limited budget and the sort of Guy/Gal who can move in these circles of science with authority is not going to be cheap - I'd guess to pick up a body of this calibre we'd have to pay Pharma type salaries which might be well in excess of what our own superstar is paid.

No one can talk about the science and it's possibilities in the way that Prof. Lindy can and if the data comes through, as we hope it will, there will be approaches, some maybe as a result of Dr Jean-Michel's ministrations and those approaches may take us straight through to negotiations with Business Lawyers and of course, Redmile getting involved. Consultants may be used to help in any negotiations.

So I am unsure now, that our new recruit is coming at all - but I could be wrong. ATB

Cleaner that's AACR's protocols I guess but if Prof. Lindy has more data, we are sure to find out then, or maybe, if there is something unrelated to the AACR presentation, it could, as ever, arrive any day. But perhaps it's gonna be a long few weeks for us LOL. ATB
