I am not sure if many people were expecting Pensana to be specifically mentioned in the budget speech but I wasn't. The fact that pieces around Pensana are covered which are the off take entities is a good thing. I can understand why some people might think a company like GE may just take over Pensana especially as they have a big presence in Angola as well. A lot more announcements are to follow.

Does not make sense to just support EV manufacturers and Wind Farm builders with $107M and not to have a supply of rare earth oxides for magnet production being secured. Forgive me for butting in. What do you think USA, EU, UK and most other developed countries will do with China RRE exports. My guess that a hefty tariff will get applied and similar would happen to a third source country trying to off load Chinese exported material. The reason for doing it is to stop Chinese dumping of product in order to stop the West having independent sources of material. I therefore find the comments immaterial. The alternative is that EU, USA and UK race to the bottom on subsidising their own RRE industry sources. So whatever is chosen now as a benchmark to me at least appears pointless.

The elephants in the room are first production recovery rates of which the best quote I have seen on a gypsum stack is 70% which represents only 1/3 of the alternative sector and varies on source of stack. This identifies the second elephant in that 85-90% of market will need to be supplied by existing and planned new mining capacity. At best gypsum stacks and other recycling sources can only deliver at best a fraction of global supply needs. Finally, if anyone thinks customers will accept sub-standard overpriced products will gain market acceptance for not using rare earth products with naff replacements instead will meet with market failure, as reliability and quality has a productivity value. Certainly getting played by someone with very deep pockets. They have made a complete mess of charting and everything else. Its like a whale splashed into the Synairgen share market and is distorting value and then deciding to chuck large volumes of shares in all directions as if the Synairgen has liquidity on par with a FTSE 100 company. Eventually someone will get the message across to them that this is not bitcoin and is a real asset and to make their minds up are they investing or not. If they are trading then do it in manageable volumes.

By meeting guidance after Q4 the share value should be around 130p higher.

On a rising channel in the hourly chart suggesting 215p close or being 9 or 10am tomorrow. Hourly lower side of the channel finding buyers.

117p is the key resistance line. Once it goes its a breakout attempt.

Barchart resistance lines mentioned earlier that were created after Friday are untested. The only true area of resistance is the previous high at 248p. The trading moves of today are searching out where buyer interest falls and sellers appear to create true and new resistance points as stock price is being re-rated by fundamentals. We will know where these are at the close pricing tonight.

I gather other companies are pointing out the need for UK sources of purified REOs. Tantalum is needed by the electronics sector for example. EU sources also concerned about their Tantalum supplies last week. COOLA has lots of Tantalum in Angola.
