Calmed down and now back into the 15 minute rising channel. Support lines are catching up over time. Awaiting USA open is my guess on what happens next.

NIH need to give a lot of attention on a positive Synairgen trial result in a few weeks time if efficacy and benefits is proved to be very effective. If not the disparity in conjunction with today's observations implies bias and prejudice. It may lead to suggestions that NIH is as bad as the Federal reserve with committee members actively trading stocks and cover positions to their personal advantage over everyone else (3 out of 12 have been implicated with insider trading). Senator Warren has shown up the FED committee and now it has lost public confidence and Trust in the USA and globally on quite a significant scale. With many Americans losing their jobs for not having a vaccination to Covid-19, the NIH can not afford a similar loss of public trust or confidence.

For the time being Synairgen has to deliver its trial results and establish if those results are very good. If so, we hope that NIH will level up on today's poor choice of editing and they support good science robustly and deliver on good care to the health of their citizens, especially if Synairgen interferon beta immunomodulator through a nebuliser with direct delivery to lung tissue is the best answer in the Covid-19 therapy toolbox.

Some hint of a good on-going 4th quarter regarding production outlook (aiming for 108,000) and AISC (to target $1200 for entire year).

Nothing new. Subcutaneous interferon beta 1 A immunomodulator is not a nebuliser inhaling directly into lung tissue, but injection I presume into muscle and absorbed directly into the blood stream. Synairgen's product is directly administered by inhalation into lungs and does not work the same way as interferon beta 1A that is injected into the body.

AAZ is one I bought into today.

We may be all running down a blind alley on the move and it may have nothing to do with any takeover. It could be that a new investor joined in on the back of COP and bought a 250,000 or so shares and it just jumped up.

I thought the above share registry was interesting. I wonder if Pensana is getting taken over through a SPAC process.

The two pieces of news to drop in Q4 include Parliamentary approval allowing development of what is essentially a significant copper mine. An update on reserves and resources that are likely to be more heavily weighted to copper. if both items are positive the share should find a way back to 130p plus. The real booster or deflater will be guidance for 2022 depending what is presented. In theory, 2023 should be a good year with more assets coming on stream, however political decisions need to be taken this quarter for management to deliver output improvements.

At present formal approval to commence with exploitation of significant copper assets is still awaited. Approval would be a positive contribution from Azerbaijan at COP26 if they did so. Production income per quarter is around $5M at present and the higher price adds on an annual basis just $2M on the current copper production. This is positive for the SP for 2p a share at most, however the copper price can fluctuate so the real improvement is probably a penny.

I bought at 116.5p this morning after pulling out at 139p in August for a modest gain. I have exchanged views with management in the lack of forward guidance for 2022 prior to exiting. My entry is on the chance of a positive surprise during Q4 and to dodge divis as I have reached and passed the divi tax threshold. I do feel the company needs to be more forthcoming with its plans and endeavour to increase production, offer how its going to off set carbon use on energy to utilise more renewable sources (for which the copper is in great demand to deliver) and its future Capex plans being updated.

In the meantime we are at war time levels in terms of share price. The value reduced from 170p to 140p on gold price falling back. It has hit high 120's as gold production declined further. The company needs to be more dynamic and to uplift investors with a positive news story with future realistic targets. The spread and liquidity on the share is awful and the only way to reduce this is attracting more investor interest so greater buying and selling happens on a daily basis and improving news flow or the expectations of it.

Nice way to start a Monday morning.

Peel Hunt withdrawn 1.5M shares sold. Interactive Investors added with 1M shares with 14 others increasing holdings by a total of 2.4M shares. Registry marginally tighter by top 2,3,4 largest holders increasing ownership by 0.9% (1.75M shares). All others had the same holding as before.

To the few open questions.

Gerry Grimstone, UK minister for investment, said: “We very much welcome the proposal to establish a fully sustainable rare earth oxide magnet metal processing facility in the Humber region. This facility is an important step in the establishment of a permanent magnet supply chain in the UK which could support a range of industries important to building back greener and our net zero ambitions.”

Once Pensana has constructed the oxide producing facility, the stage 2 operation from 2025 would be to extend to magnet production if necessary. It may be possible for another UK or EU company with capacity and expertise to off take from Pensana in producing metal and the ATF is evaluating this on grants already issued. Whatever the final route taken it provides a secure supply to support climate protection initiatives.
