If a company board receives a takeover bid, they can refer a notification to the market that a speculative bid was raised and they are in talks with such an entity. The second option is they just reject the bid especially if it was deemed to be a low offer. If the rejected party on the low ball offer does nothing we may possibly hear nothing much about it. Alternatively the low baller raises the offer and at this point they may go public on their bid or may not but usually the takeover target company declares a bid was made. If the takeover company is aggressive they usually publicly announce what they are doing and try and convince other share holders to side with them.

As all serious takeover attempts proceed the share price quotes by most brokers will indicate the stock is under a speculative offer. All trades by the prospective takeover company both long and short have to be declared under form 8.3 under the takeover code. Companies in this situation may have multiple RNS's every day as entities making various large trade bids all have to submit 8.3 forms. This allows ordinary investors to have visibility on the market activity knowing what hedge funds, banks, their own company and the takeover company are all doing in the market. In an unwanted takeover battle this allows ordinary investors to buy stock against a takeover company short position and they can see how big that short is in trying to lower the value of their stock. Hence why a number of unwanted takeovers do not succeed unless they have very deep pockets.

What they could have done is confirm that the geotechnical and hydrology foundation studies (13 mins webinar September) that were to be completed end of September had either been done or were adding input to FEED and that the closing out of environmental permitting end of December was still on schedule or put back to 31 January. What we have is zero evidence of any applications being submitted to Department of Environment ensuring the Humber river estuary was not going to be polluted. Additionally all we hear is that FEED is near completion without a new deadline for it. We have been taken down this road before and the sensitivity of handling the shareholder community should be on their radar. Instead we got lots of other announcement in the public domain that was not about Pensana itself. They had the time to post that information but not a holding RNS to say a huge amount of work is being done, they were making progress, but some delays were happening in order to get the design right and to engage with environmental authorities with the correct evidence generated from all the on-goin design work. It would have been simple to do and we could allowed for it as we know how important it is. Trust is hard won and quickly lost, something that other actors outside of Pensana chucked away last week. Industry and technology is having to lead the political elite as doing it the other way round has proven to be hopeless as we have all seen at the end of COP26.

If an overdose of beta Interferon 1 is given it will have minimal clinical efficacy as was observed in the 1980's, however at the correct dose as used in phase 2 clinical studies in 2020 against Covid-19 that a significant beneficial effect is observed. Over the decades the production of interferons has probably improved to remove impurities. Over recent years more research papers that have been listed by many contributors were showing that at the correct dose of the value of different interferon therapies. I therefore agree on your observation of data reported in the 1980's however it is not relevant to the Synairgen Covid-19 therapy product.

Can not see this getting much cheaper. If its staying in the bull channel we should again run to 17.5p or higher. Next sell low would be 16p.

The share price is not strange. It came down a second time to knock out the last remaining 1p gap in chart UK end. USA gap starts from around 183p. I suspect it rallies in the last 90 minutes to 190p after USA open. We shall see if I prove right.

The gap is 1449 sell to 1469. No RNS to support the gap. Anyone top slicing, well you know where to consider to put in a buy order back in play.

The buyers came in the last 30 minutes and held the support line and more shares bought than sold. The last 30 minutes of trading had 5 fold the buy volume we saw on Wednesday.

I sense the entire climate protection agenda has got delayed and lost a few months. The desire to go forward is there and we await to see if the financial institutions will be proactive and get things started or will it be as before, that everyone awaits a mechanism on how a new economic system can be brought about to facilitate the technical and everything else needed to deliver a less carbon intensive future.

The share touched the major support line at 94p. Today it has bounced off it. We shall see what tomorrow brings as we head into the close.

Three factors are at play. The first is a Prime Minister drowning in sleaze during an International Conference and the handling of it has been disgraceful. It has lowered UK standing overall globally and the embarrassment with UK lack of Statesmanship is there for everyone to see. The second is policy failures that include the ATF, the recent budget and the failure of the green bond and general rhetoric towards investors to support climate change and they should not expect any return as well as a loss of principle in the funds they put at risk. The third is down to Pensana who started well, but forgot the main course with all the likely deliverables and so underperformed and lost continued buyer support.

Maybe something will happen on the last day of COP26, but so far Greta has got it right and public confidence in politicians achieving anything feels like it is near zero.

The company is earning $140 per ounce more since August and it goes down in value 3% and at the same time hits higher grade ore and is producing more ounces. Can not make it up. What is the company not telling us!
