Do you actually have confidence in the UK and USA central bankers. I find them arrogant and highly self serving and perhaps the phrase idiot savants used in some quarters or perhaps commissars comes to mind. The mistakes they made have created huge problems for everybody.

Theo, I only mention support lines as they are often used when buy orders are placed. Some people buy on FIB retracement lines, pivot points and at 50 day SMA or whatever. As for 52.2p and 51p we have a spread going on between buy and sell. I am not far off. It could well park up for the day around this area. If it does the support line could give way tomorrow if all the stocks are getting a hit as the market sell off before FED rate rise happens. All this monkey hammer FED nonsense will be out of the way next week.

52.2 relatively strong support. 49.8p weak support line. 46p strongest support line.

Unfortunately this lot will not help a lot of stocks.

I was not far off. They have only missed guidance a tiny bit, but maintained costs in line. Still Q1 for permit extension. As I expected production is lower this year. New mine build has reached 50% build and on target. I think HOC is priced in the negatives and any dip today is pre FED jitters.

October 2022 it was reported as 41.7% and in the recent January 2023 report this had increased to 42.2%. The increase is around 5.25M shares.

If you compare Shanta, Centamin, AAZ, HOC, GGP, Hummingbird and Fresnillo on a comparative stock price graph, Shanta is in first place on the 12 month comparison to all the other shares and from the start of this year, Shanta is out performing all the stocks. GGP is the most dreadful of all the stock performances.

Some of the gold miner ETFs retreated 3% today. This is equivalent to a drop of 11.5 to around 11.15p for Shanta and that is what happened.

Anyway, I think you are obsessed with the wrong metric and if the person you suggest was selling it would be at a loss as we can work out his average buy price was around 12.5-12.75p overall. Tony

The lowest I buy and sell shares in Shanta is 50,000 blocks. Quite often I buy 100,000 shares at a time. I am probably not alone.

You continue to speculate on one particular selling source to support stock positions after you probably sold off. You have argued this same speculation on more than one occasion. Unless you have absolute proof your statements amount to nothing more than down ramping which everyone can identify with.

It is not down ramping talking about the future direction of gold, or technical aspects one might see in a stock chart, or the proper fundamentals in company operations and its management especially when the author has done proper research and can articulate data and facts. What irritates everybody is when someone comes on here with their complete guesses as to who may sell on a share trade and the frequency of when they do it as if the rest of the readership lack intelligence and can not see through what you are playing at as if they are blind to all the buy trades going on as well and do not understand that a sell can often be a share purchase as we have buyers and sellers either end of it.

Finally, if gold miner shares do pull back, it will provide another opportunity for other PIs to jump in and ride the share stock up much higher on what may be a rally in the gold price taking place as well.

We can of course just filter the down ramping out, but occasionally one of us will write back once with our views as many LSE Boards seem to be taken over by teenagers playing wind ups with the investment community and it is useful to point it out to all the readership as it is their intent to ruin investment message boards. I did the same as you and added at 36.22p. It was an average down in the ISA. Nanoco is now up to 3% of my entire portfolio. Very tempting to add further depending on the price action. Tony

The fact they did not return my call the other day was not a particularly good sign. I am hoping the production is not far off the mark from target. I do not see any permit extension and will see if end of Q1 becomes H1. It is the debt situation which absorbs enterprise value that is a concern. AISC is heavily influenced by the production achieved and again I hope we are looking near where the company gave guidance. Production for the current year going forward and that cost assessment may not please us at all.

We should also get an update on the mine build and hopefully that is good news. Overall I suspect its a mixed bag tomorrow.

It was dead silent on the rise and then the insults arrive as price retreats. It is so predictable and the purpose is to ruin the message board for everybody else. Filter button is an option I am having to use more often on LSE especially for repetition. Tony

We are all responsible for doing our own research. We are all responsible and have the bravery to manage our own portfolios on the decisions we make. We all deal with our own successes and failures with investing and manage diversified portfolios to deliver a reasonable annual result. Sometimes a set back makes you a better investor. Most of us act with honesty on these boards and do not have multiple identities. Some of us try our best at humour and sometimes it is received in the way it is intended. Some people are genuine in sharing their knowledge and do research and identify what they discover here and it makes cold dark January days and nights pass quicker. Of course we then have others who play games with people on here, like to practice psychology or to exercise their own paranoia or actually take payment from organisations that want to damage the company people are invested in. After awhile you trust your own gut and get to know who is more genuine or not, who is intelligent, who is supportive and you can identify the hallmarks with those who have suspect intentions. Nobody here can predict what the exact future is and getting caught out by an unknown in left field (forgive my Chicago baseball analogy where tornado come from).
