Bhants - I've also seen that in Rhodes where a group came back too late, and the ship had let go of her ropes, but they would let them on!!!!

To be honest we have seen alsorts going on but just keep yourself right and be polite after all you are there to enjoy it.

We were on a transatlantic cruise on Azura, and a couple were sent to their cabins and off loaded in Barbados I saw them and their luggage port side looking very sorry for themselves indeed. It transpires they were kicked off for F-ing and blinding at the officers when they were drunk, as a couple we met on their witnessed it. I don't think it would take too much to be thrown off but what a shame to spoil a cruise just enjoy the moment!! I think with recent trouble on ships i.e., Britania when there were people fighting in the buffet, they have tightened up with troublemakers.

Hilarious Ken to be honest I do love the peace and quiet and she is mostly very quiet!! Looking forward to the break now !

Seems quite steady today at the very least it's not tanking, quite a lot of news out today regarding CCL in relation to the disruptive passengers being fined and also changes to the alcohol deals.

hjkl - To be honest our cruises this year have been absolutely fine I understand Shindu is currently closed on Aurora not quite sure why, but I will find out next week.
We do need to submit our covid vaccine history but as we are sailing from Southampton there isn't any covid test required. I have heard a few people have had their cabins changed due to quarantine cabins needed so slowly getting back to normal, I think. I will report next week whilst on board.

Thanks Ken we are the same we love Aurora our favorite ship, be such a shame if they sell her off. I suppose you remember Niel Turnball the captain he was always on their until they made her an adult only. Shame about Arvia being cancelled early December!

That is so true, Arcadia is basically the same ship as Victoria so that would make sense, we were in Norway, Iceland and Orkneys in July 2022 on Victoria same the midnight sun was amazing and around 21degrees, this time we are in tromso and alta , we are on arcadia over the new year we always do the 5-night new year cruise. We have a few booked next year so hopefully the trend will continue with CCL !

Thank you we are on P&O next week Aurora 12-night Norway cruise. We were on Queen Victoria and prior to that Ventura and both were absolute fine.

Thats good to know it would seem things are looking better, a lot of debt but seems like its managed. I will report next week to the cruise we are on.

Can I ask a really odd question, how is it everyone seems so broke where has all the money gone?

Naturally money is tangible I understand paper money also but if the UK, USA China etc are all claiming poverty to a degree where has all the money gone ?
