As much as I welcome the update and financials I can’t see why this news alone will hike share price much as there are underlying issues to further CCL s woes, if things were that rosy we would be sitting in the high teens , I’m into this share in quite a big way so I hope it does lift the SP but I can’t see it alone !!

I really don’t think going insolvent is an option but I do see parts of the company being off loaded , they will in my opinion have to stream line the business to suit todays / tomorrows requirements but then again this could be the start of something good !!

This is looking very poor at the moment but not to panic this will bounce back before too long especially when the USA gives the all clear again and we learn to live with Covid, incidentally we have just spoken with P&O and asked about a cruise for September they were advertising £240 OBC but if we book today we will get £840 OBC so they are definitely desperate for passengers in my opinion. Less people on ships so the experience will be better we cant have it all ways !!

I for one hope this outfit bounces back soon but I feel it will be a long haul given the damaging financial crisis already hit and also looming they are a long way from profit and I feel changes are going to be made in terms of ships and company ownership.

That's very interesting Intime, we are away shortly from Southampton, we have friends who caught covid whilst from Malta on Azura and currently have friends on queen Elizbeth who have been transferred to a Quarantine hotel in LA and there cruise cut short to Alaska due to covid. It would seem the best bet is to sail from Southampton with no pic - ups on route rather than fly cruises as I believe its the airports doing the damage through Covid etc. due to there current processes.

This particular share could be huge given the recent years of highs and lows and things can move quick with considerable gains all it will take is the right set of updates/results then we could easily be in the 2s as someone has already stated.

Absolutely agree Ken that sounds a great deal on a lovely ship with a lovely itinerary , we are away on queen Victoria July to Iceland from Southampton balcony cabin all in about 3 grand for a fortnight so I think there are deals there, have a lovely cruise I do like the canaries a lot !!

I would of thought joining in Southampton would be a lesser risk of covid on board as no airports etc, hope it all goes well that’s a lovely break just across to canaries

We were due to fly out today to join Azura tomorrow but we have cancelled due to the amount of covid on board lucky enough we have moved the cruise.

On anticipation alone this should start to climb nicely closer to results day !!

I don’t think the figures will be good for a long time but I also think the slightly /hopeful news Russia and Ukraine peace talks have made some headway will be helping as well .

Seems from the RNS CCL are forecasting a loss due to oil prices I would of thought we have a lot of oil hedge funded , hopefully Rushi will help tomorrow to ease the Burden .
