How Lovely we are away again in April - Malta on Azura cant wait. The ships are definitely running 50-70% capacity nice on board so quite but not good for the profits.

Funchal and madeira absolutely beautiful place we are very fond of this island indeed. Hopefully the SP will improve as the year goes on.

Very busy weekend for bookings so this could go either way today my hunch is that is goes north.

MMs will be having a field day here keeping this lower, this should be a lot higher after the positive testing news !

Yes I can only speak as I find, we have done lots of cruises over the last 10 years and to be honest there wasn't any difference in my opinion apart from a test, the recent negative news in the US from the CDC seems to be over done as usual and lots of cruises going ahead, I get the feeling from a colleague who has a very prominent position within CCL that things are definitely looking brighter and bookings are very busy for new and FCC.

We have just been away for the 5 night new year cruise on Ventura the first cruise we have done in two years, i must say how brilliant and organized P&O really are it was fantastic, a little bit of extra paper work but all worth it well done P&O. No covid that we were aware of , got off in Norway and Belgium no problems, food was brilliant and service was brilliant. Clean ship and so well organized throughout. We are away in April again on Queen Victoria to the Baltics, i really cant see any issues and fully expect the S/P to re-bound by spring time .I truly believe the governments of the world are are holding the travel companies to ransom to get maximum money through testing for as long as possible all im my opinion and from recent experience.

Until they determine the severity of this new variant I would suggest this will not go anywhere north, I've read today USA are considering new more stringent parameters for this new variant so this could again be why the USA have been pushing this south of late. I think a few months of a force 9-10 then should dissipate and hopefully be in calmer waters.

Thank you , would be interesting to know as this will have an impact of the SP in terms of running costs etc, travel update in three weeks if this is just a blip (new variant) cant see any reason by early next year the SP isn't running away again.

Just a quick question as I'm sure there are avid cruisers here , does anyone know what Azura is not taking passengers to the Caribbean i.e. a transatlantic cruise ? Seems strange her first cruise is the 10/12/21 but gong to Caribbean empty!

Totally agree with that statement

Because of huge debt, the debts are building day in day out hence the buying options by CCL of late. I think there is worse to come some days a rise but on the main trading platform years of debt consolidation !!

So why the drop and why the rise ?? have i missed something

Massive financial ramifications are in play here , CCL like many other corporates are in dire financial trouble , look at the true balance sheets lets day cruising came back now in its full glory we would be looking at around 30 years to cover the recent loses !!
