bhants - The way the market is reacting now I can see us above 9s in the very near future, of course with any negative news things could change but there isn't any reason I'm aware of for the sp to tank apart from the mms games etc. All ships are running and as I believe at capacity. Bookings are strong and debt although high is managed. Balance sheets are looking healthier and cooperate costs are at a low so hopefully we will see a steady rise.

Got to agree there Ken we also have done 30+ and never had anything at all, but have been on board when they have announced it I always thought people had drunk too much and they feel I’ll !! It is quite odd how some get it but others don’t so it’s got to be luck of the draw and keep yourself clean etc.

I certainly wouldn't call this price a spike it has had a slow but steady rise over a number of days, each day the price has held quite well I can see a big up turn in SP price over the next few months. As already advised if you are here for the longer term I really wouldn't worry.

bhants - Thank you but no need to apologize I hope my comment did not come across as in any way aggressive apologize if they did, yes I've also seen that and i do agree that people seem to walk on by and by pass the hand gel stations your probably right and its a mix of both either way it does seem to be gathering pace and more and more of this norovirus ,
May is a lovely time to get away I bet you cant wait.

bhants - We have done a lot of cruises and being fortunate to never catching this dreaded bug, I have to disagree as I truly believe the crew are the culprits here in cleanliness, the past 4 cruises Arcadia has had issues with Norovirus same crew but different PAX I really cannot see the link to passengers, I for one and have witnessed hand washing every time I have visited the little boys room contact hand cleanser around the ship but barley do I ever see a crew member using these facilities, clearly we will never know but I do believe it is the crew. Having spent time working etc. in these countries where the crew are mainly from I can assure you there cleanliness is close to zero compared to ours.

Ken - Will do we fly out of Gatwick on the morning flight on the 1/3/23. The sounds lovely sailing back to Southampton on arvia, my parents are on her now they are loving life.

oh I see I've heard of it on board but never had it, what a shame, it seems to be more prevalent on the ships again.

SP seems to be holding quite well today, we are off to Dubai on 1st March this time we are flying.

Seems to be holding quite well at around this price, profit taking hasn't really affected the SP , looking really stable again this is very good news.

bhants - Yes I also do look at it sometimes and cant work out the exact position, like you say if its the right time and your happy with the price that's good enough. Like its already been stated I do feel for the people who bought in high !!

Yes that wouldn't surprise me at all, it does look strong but profit takers etc. I am expecting swings along the way , my average is pretty low thankfully so will keep an eye on it !!

Ken - Like the sound of that OBC X 2 !! we are considering it it will happen whether is be 2024/25. Its something we would like to do or possibly in two halves over two years.

Very true Ken I also no of a few who bought in at the top, I think there be a long wait till we see those highs again, I've just been on the phone we are considering the world cruise Jan 2024, I've just been advised on both Arcadia and queen Victoria limited availability on a balcony cabins as first thought bookings are very strong.
Sentiment seems very high today with CCL.

Ken - Very true there will be lots of profit takers the further it goes up, I think with sentiment it will pish north regardless, seems to be in a good position !!

I can also see that recovery should be underway in 2023 like I have said before ships are running full bore so a strong start to the year. What Fordy has very kindly posted regarding bookings should also give a good start to the USA this afternoon.
