My parents are on Iona now in canaries and they have said beautiful ship and love the cruise they have just booked the whole of Jan 2024 on iona, I am a bit suspect due to the amount of pax but parents say not crowded etc , we are away on azura in three weeks Tenerife to Malta , we did do one cruise with RCC and don’t like it as much as P&O and Cunard

I totally share your thoughts on flying, we don't mind flying at all but its the airports that we cant seem to handle they are in my view a total shambles compared to other countries, we do fly now and again but normally we go form Southampton back to Southampton and this is my favorite way but on this occasion we will do battle at Gatwick !!

Absolutely I feel for anyone in a negative position, I didn't think we would see 7s again I must admit, getting closer to Q1 results so hopefully good and if there is the usual leak could start building start of March. Just booked the Tenerife to Valetta 13 days on Azura in 3 weeks time quite a good deal and flights from London. I find the canaries a bit strange nothing really like Spain but all the same very nice.

Bot - Thanks for the run down I understand the dynamic's in a nut shell it is like false accounting really like you have said until the cruise actually happens, with any company such as this net profit is king and with the amount of FCC there books must of been and still are way off actual, fingers crossed for the Q1 results.

Looking at the comments I'm unsure of the actual facts in terms of FCC & new money, which ever way you look at this they have debt albeit managed debt, the uncertainty with Russia in my opinion and also the uncertainty of inflation both here and the US must be keeping the SP stagnant and until these issues have been alleviated I think we will continue to see this around these levels. I do agree though with the comments of the Q1 results if they are favorable on the balance sheet up we go.

Just back from a few days away what's happened lol, still we should see a change in the next few months looks like the USA inflation fears are holding this back.

bhants - It certainly wants to jump give it another few months with spring in the horizon hopefully we will see an improvement and hopefully the Q1 results will be favorable.

When we get OBC we always have to send the letter from our broker by email but we always get it P&O & Cunard we find are no problem at all with this.
