I think we need to cool down the recteric and wait and see, going into production this year will say it all if we don’t see a rise when production gets going and they start turning some revenue a few months down the line I think then the comments are justified (moon) but let it play out for the year !

I am surprised we have gone this low however I know the last couple of weeks the USA have the jitters regarding the possibility of defaulting on the repayment of debt I believe they are awaiting the outcome from a meeting back in early May to indicate the way forward. also the UK - USA interest rate debacle is not helping, and obviously Ukraine , hopefully we will see this pick up again in the next few months

Hi Bot I agree with that like you happy to hold hopefully the rise has started !

I am aware of the debt CCL are carrying but most corporations s such as these carry huge debt through there life cycle , the last few months have seen most ships back to normal with capacity hitting 100% so fingers crossed things continue as planned, I also think come summer we should be seeing things improve further , I did mention by spring things should improve but clearly I was wrong with that forecast. Quite happy to hold for a few years here. Next cruise will be on queen elizebeth in September .

botbot Quite simple really its a bank holiday weekend (uk) and a slight price rise will indicate to the general audiences things are improving so get in while you can but most probable on open Tuesday we will see the slide. Absolutely convinces games are at play yet again. and as you have said how the hell can Royal be worth that much more !! The mind boggles.

All getting a bit technical for me !! I simply cannot wait till my next cruise - Next week !!

Snap we have also booked Queen Anne for next year , also queen Mary ( if she is fixed) !!

Mrs bossy boots just pricing world cruise up on Cunard and P&O not much difference in price for Balcony cabins , prefer the Arcadia itinerary Panama out suez in , prob will only ever do it once as so much we want to do apart from Ken anyone done it ?

Anangis - Sailed on Azura quite a few times lovely ship very similar to Ventura , Med cruise will be turnaround port Malta - family friendly so plenty of kids especially school holidays , Malta airport small so flying in/out on turnaround days very busy , we like Azura good luck.

We normally like the smaller ships but mrs has looked at a Caribbean cruise on Arvia , what was your experience on her ? Any info much appreciated

bhants - I think id agree with that P&O best bet especially for cost as well they are quite reasonable at the moment.

If the trip is focused on the 12 year old might be worth looking at Royal Caribbean although we wouldn't do any of there ships again but I hear great for kids.

What ever you decide enjoy it and make the most of the MDR not specialty resturants.

beejay - Thank you we do always enjoy a cruise, we done Iceland last year for the midnight sun and tromso in November for the lights both excellent. So we are basically doing the same next year we enjoyed it so much.

SP will lift one day I'm sure must be debt related as the cruises seem very busy.
Recently we were in madeira and four ships were in all full, Azamara , P&O, Norwegian & Mein Sheif all very busy.

Just a recommendation if anyone is thinking of doing the repositioning cruise from Tenerife to Malta or vise versa it was one of the best we have done !!

BEEJAY - apologies we are on Aurora in May but Cunard queen Elizabeth in September in the Med.

Next year we have queen Anne July Iceland and queen Mary in November up to tromso.

bhants - still not entered into the works of Bridge !! Far too lazy on the last cruise as per usual !! but yes we may try it on carnival, I see the SP is being hit again we can only live in hope.

Ken- I don’t doubt that for a minute very busy with bookings in fact so are we !!!! We all also met some friends on board who are going to start buying CCL shares I personally think a very good buy in price , we are away again early May on Cunard so will update then !!
