Do you have any outstanding responses to emails from i3e - I sent a couple quite a while back with an acknowledgement of receipt and an indication a response was forthcoming - that was weeks ago.

They are either too busy to respond (I know the're busy) or they didnt like the questions - i'm not sure which.

I've noticed that Tain has been pulled off the list of expected awards for underwater trees in the 3rd quarter.

My bet is that Tain and other projects are monitoring project approvals at Cambo before committing to Project Sanctions / FID. I would now expect FID & Farmout in the 4th Quarter assuming that Cambo gets the nod. I could be wrong but this is what it looks like to me.

Fortunately we have Canada with potentially transformative projects coming up in the next month or two - Canada must be one of the best jurisdictions in the world !

I didn't say that HUR was a dying basket case - you've said this. I'm saying you're a basket case - please try to stick to the facts !

Ron - your comments are a little unfair especially as you post under multiple monikers and have been guilty in the past of seeing things only through a rose tinted lens.

Just to address you comments :

1) Doc does extensive research, shares it and as far as anyone can tell does not charge for it. Is it reasonable to expect he holds off taking a position and allows you to buy in first off the back of his research? Not a reasonable expectation in my humble opinion.

As far as him ramping - I don't see it like that at all. No difference from many here including myself (and you) singing the praises of i3e - I don't consider it ramping when you believe in the research and the numbers your are promoting - its a win win for the person sharing the information and fellow poster who get to see the research.

As far as EMO goes - anyone who paid attention will have observed that he shared his research on EMO when the SP was about $0.45 (CAD) several months ago. The SP is now about $1.80. He was buying in at $0.30 and has continued to build his steak as recently as a week or so ago all the way up to $1.80. He has a substantial stake in the Company (2-3%) which has been acknowledged by the CEO.

2) With regards to NBLC - I think he has played it very similar to EMO and for your information - I have not bought into NBLC yet - i'm thinking about it. Its not currently available on Hargreaves Lansdown although I have email them to see whether it can be added. I'd be interested to hear where PiratePete managed to buy.

My motivation is just to share information on a win win basis and also to encourage people to DYOR before buying - I dont think anyone here has caught me or accused me of pumping / dumping of shares.

Another interesting podcast from Doc Jones / David Gower - it provides an update on EMO along with his latest high conviction bet - Nobel29 Resources (NBLC)

Not a stock I would normally look at but I rate Doc Jones research, the CEO is the same guy who runs EMO who seems to be making all the right moves and its an early stage play on Copper - worth a listen.

This graph in my view helps to explain the major reason for the sluggishness in i3e's share price - not Management Performance, the recent share placement or Institutional Investors.

If you look at the graph - historical valuations for Oil & Gas Co's are a 7x to 9x multiple of CF, Eric Nuttall is now basing his target prices on 4 to 6 x but current valuations are are actually in the range 2 to 4x CF.

Sentiment in Oil & Gas is pretty low and lower in my opinion that it was even 6 months ago and not getting any better at the moment - look at the articles appearing on OilPrice.com and other outlets almost every day. I've lowered my target multiples from where i was 2-3 month back as I think brokers will have done.

i3e sits at the lower end of the 2-4x multiple so cheap but no cheaper than some of the other other companies highlighted on the above charts.

So three ways for i3e's SP to climb higher:

1) Sentiment in the sector to improve and i3e to rise with it. This may happen as Oil and Gas Companies are about to announce significantly higher dividends and share buy backs. Eric Nuttal talks about this and some companies will be paying in excess of 10% in dividends and buybacks - this should entice investors back to the sector.

2) i3e to attract a premium / higher rating relative to peers - WHI talked about this - premium performance = premium rating. i3e have the assets / catalysts in their portfolio to do this - they just have to continue and perhaps accelerate what they are already doing and the SP has to climb.

3) the 3rd ways is to grow production / Cash Flow - again they have the acreage / assets to do this and we have seen the evidence of this already happening. No reason to expect this not to continue or even accelerate - they have the cash and they have the acreage.

Baring an oil price collapse or other drastic event - all that is require is a bit of patience and an acceptance that until sentiment in the Oil Sector returns price targets may be a little lower that they would have been in better times.

No I don’t agree - look at the 1 month and 6 month charts - the trend is up. 1 year up over 100%, 6 months up 36%, 1 month up over 6%.

You jumped in as the SP was spiking up - I’m not sure that you knew the value of what you were buying and the share has retraced a little - you got caught out.

In my opinion if you hold tight a little while longer - you will see a profit.

Take a look at some of the charts Eric Nuttal posts for Nine Point Capital on valuation and see where I3E sits - I think I3E are doing ok and the story is getting better.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I think most here don’t object if it’s an honest opinion and not a blatant ramp or deramp based on misinformation.

You’ve expressed this exact opinion 2 or 3 times in the very recent past and revived to me what seem to be satisfactory reponses to your concerns.

You’ve said your losing faith in the BOD - it would be fair and reasonable to ask you to explain why you are loosing faith - I would appreciate if you could justify your comment.

I think that’s right but still a decent result. If anyone took the trouble to read the Baytex Results - they had a table showing production numbers in Marten Hills for 8 or so recently drilled wells. Production ranged from about 120 to over 700 bopd from memory. So the results can be quite variable and 120 is still pretty good. As WHI said - I3E will look carefully at the work over opportunities - if they can repeat what they announced today within the 80 or so identified opportunities - they will be adding significant production at a fraction of the cost of new wells. In addition - hopefully they will drill a handfull of these 400+ gushers themselves - they have a huge land position for a company of its size in prime acreage to choose from. Happy days!

You can REJECT all you like - it doesn't make you right. I think I'm right in saying that some here would agree that your personal slights aimed at GS were totally out of order and unjustified - the fact that you cannot see that is your problem.

I have kept an eye on NCCL since you brought it up - I'm not convinced yet and I was a little surprised - in fact change that to very surprised with the very muted response to todays news.

Have you been keeping an eye on EMO or DOC's new baby NBLC ?

Some food for thought:

1) The market is not always rational
2) The RNS is positive in my view - not as positive as it could have been and possibly not a positive as the market thought. Lets see what WHI say - I'm sure they will view it as broadly positive. So good but perhaps not as good as the market were expecting.
3) The volume is low as you mention - so as it stands now - the "serious " money is hanging tight!

You plug the numbers into a spread sheet and the added production today adds about $8m to free cash flow !!! 8 Million Dollars !!! Given that the SP is already very cheap on historic metrics then the SP should not have gone down today. WHI said it in their last report that the market has not yet appreciated what i3e had done and continue to do.

that's correct but you wont see the production numbers in the results - the cash earned from the "effective date" is deducted from the purchase price of the acquisition which again is post period - If I recall correctly - WHI referred to this and estimated the deduction at around $8 to $10 M
