Hello jake/colour.. I find this whole situation fascinating. ARM, the mention was taboo, must not show ARM aspirations.
JC started along the lines of leasing as ARM did, JC said he would like to be similar. It would strange if we started along that route with the help of ARM. Funny how life changes.

CC is trying to keep us up to date. As JC said the last contract in India was 6 months to signing and was remarkably fast.

On the numbers side, which as you say is very important, I think it will suddenly take off.
Reasons: Indian Government likes it, Indian Meter Manufacturers ( a bit Strictly Come Dancing ) love it, Utilities will not be able to get enough of it as it makes immediate savings.
The up side as I see it is, it can go in the leading meters and therefore will probably appear several times on the same bid, standing a much greater chance than individual makers.
If ENZEN keep on board I can see CC getting many leads on contracts, obviously making a good job of it and making more income.
I still think we are in the early stages of a big company, CC given its head will advance quickly.

Colour, we have not had these final 2 months yet. No use downing what has been roughly forecast, if we get there with no positive achievements then say so. You just can't help saying it in reverse.
The installation speed you are referring are virtually dumb meters. India is not quite flagging that up now, they want to be able to go up against the likes of Chinese industrially. This new Omni with Canopy capability builds out quickly so will be in demand, especially with the time pressure now on.

Hello jake, you could be right on some issues. However along the line you arguing against yourself. We know that ARM got bought out recently, probably way above its value. It is in semi conductors which Cyan was, it started in a small way and then began leasing, it never got superseded because it spread itself about quickly, was good market value and reliable. Trouble is PI's see a company like ARM make good but forget that at some time it was just like the rest.
Softbank weighed in high for ARM because it saw long term fortunes, who knows it may regret that at £28bn..
Anyway these coming weeks up to new year and just beyond will give us a better indication.

I will throw it back to you. Why not £5 a share, we are talking take-over money. My previous reference to £20 will astound you.
Perhaps you never followed ARM or are too young. As there is virtually no costs involved, apart from staffing, R&D, contracts etc. it is nearly all profit, and now most current CC R&D is completed.
Put plainly we need asset value of £182m to achieve £1. It was forecast some time ago that we would achieve £0.5bn.around about this time which we did not due to change of circumstance, now we are away again with the addition of continuing leasing income. If futures are rolled into asset value as they trying to do then our MCap should rise considerably.

As you infer with JC my calculations are only .gestimates. A bit like you saying we were done for in India, then WOW we were chasing untold contracts.

SoftBank is shoring up its reserves to move further into digital/software.
Yesterday I was casually listening to Bloomberg, I think it was about SoftBank and there was a company mentioned that was trading at 400 times its earnings. That is an SP risk. We are in the realms of Software, a world apart, mainly mark up, no factory costs.
CC = 182 million X £20 = £3.6bn. If CC going to be a sought after global company then that is about right to me.

Well Colour, I must admit the only technical experience in this field is via my contacts. I take it you do have the knowledge. However I have 40 Years in stocks and by this time have a keen eye for the may be's as opposed to the duff ones. Did very well in last digital boom/bust. Colour, should there be a chance of a takeover bid I do not think it would less than £5 probably much more. Of course should we get to £5 still intact there could be much bigger jumps as trade expands rapidly.
I say this because unlike most investments the existing Funds have been in for a long long time, with many highs and lows, and I cannot see them bailing for less than £20 if all these contracts suddenly start materialising and future multiplying incomes from leasing. A bit wild may be but we have never been in this final stage position before especially if the Canopy System with rapid rollout becomes the norm.

Colour.. you may be right re Canaccord but to just have them showing interest says a lot. We are one of hundreds of companies and to come to the attention and be purchased by a big Fund, on their behalf or others, is what matters.
I am sure JC is trying to pull out all the Stops. CC is well known in the Industry so we need to keep flagging up successes.

Thanks ITT. Logical. Equally £bn. outfit buys into CC. Speaks highly but in that high altitude others are going to think we will have some of that. That poses the question in my mind of if they represent interested parties in Energy industry we need a few RNS's before someone considers buyout. The B word.
Softbank is doing IPO and viewing software companies.
They pay well (as with ARM) but we need a bit more exposure to get good SP.
