The thing is JJess it's not like a laptop, it has not got an end product you can touch or play with. It is a bit of link equipment primarily useful for Smart electricity meters, gas, traffic lights, so mainly of interest to utilities, but can be used for IoT.

Hello JJess.. Basically it is an update on CC Omnimesh. Probably be better if you pull up more details but it is multiplatform based meaning it can link different bits of electronics inside a building that would not normally talk to each other. A lot more than that, look on CC site at June 18 when the advanced version was announced.
Could be a vital bit of gear of manufacturers/utilities.

Hello 2cv. From my view the presentation was the turning point. JC actually moved towards forward statements, which gives an air of confidence. No one knows the outcome of AIM but this is the nearest yet to success. New technology is always on the horizon but for the present CC seems to have cracked it. PR is now the order of the day, get your goods out there.
I have thought about the TV ad aspect some more and if people knew that with Advance Omni they would tie all their various electronics together that would a sales pitch, obviously only if that worked.
If it is that versatile I would like to see it in multi-storey buildings fire alarms, my old stamping ground. I could envisage a lot being done in that regard following recent tragedies.

Morning All..Hope some got a chance to listen to presentation.
To me that covers the whole spectrum of CC at the moment. We are moving from losses, through R&D, into breakeven and profit this year. With recurring revenues, very important, once in profit I see them doubling and doubling quickly as added to with new contracts. An interesting point is the possibilities for new Omni as it can fitted and used anywhere to anything. With Mobile companies and Utilities all finding a use for this gap filler I see a lot of demand. RF can be used as the main connection or the backhaul and being independent of PLC etc can always be relied upon.
I don't worry about what others say but I see this company as having potential of a mini ARM/InTel.
All the current work is done and the way it is going it will not need a band of salesmen and will sell itself once advertising in press and periodicals gets underway. One for JC to consider, may be not possible, a brief TV advert. Expensive but done right who knows. Look at HIVE, what happens if customers end has poor transmission or the person out running is in a 'notspots' area. PR is all in the mind.
It is now down to advertising.

Hello Rkk1. My thoughts are that with China CC do not need large sums but large volumes. A chap I know repairs Palets at £2 a go and he is very well off.

I also read somewhere that we took an order off a competitor, so not all one-way, possibly Silver Spring not certain.
So give and take. With Security being high on the list our GCHQ rating will not go unnoticed.

Hello jake, most spikes come after a win of any size, apart from that who knows. Some of the early software companies 80/90s stayed dormant and then sprung to life, some 20/30 times being earnings, even though loss making.

Hello Rkk1, everything in Smart is everlastingly long, BI hopefully will have early returns. I presume it will get underway before H2. The BI and Genus contracts are very progressive, to have the manufacturer pay to embed them is good thinking. Looking at the recent video of production I would say that that Motherboard was a bit more than pennies.
To get paid for production/inclusion plus payment when activated is proper thinking. Don't forget CC is small and to me this is a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Hello jake.. that's where we have different outlooks relating to AIM. After repeating myself umpeen times in October 8
5m shares were bought in one go and no SP movement yet now probably in total 0.5m various sells and all this happens.
Shares must move up and down constantly or no Market. Now that is simple, FTSE100 would be entirely different.

stedon, I do not have any understanding of why you are still here unless of course you have bought back in. Now that would be ironic considering your last ditch attempts to screw CC into the ground.
Take no notice of SP it is not really relevant with AIM. It is tweak up and down to achieve turnover.
All these years as technology has changed and improved Cyan/Connode has hit high notes then suddenly run on dry patches.
This is the furthest we have got towards achieving sales and still you cannot keep your mouth shut. Alright you may have lost a few bob in the past but that is the fortunes of AIM and everybody including BOD have suffered to some degree. The next few months will tell it all.

Greengrass.. apart from feeling you are taking the p** I totally agree with you. Over the years we have for one reason or another been constantly putting back the quarters.
We have now got to the stage where it will be all systems go or no go.
It now remains to be seen what the income is in Q1 and Q2. I personally think that JC's laying off to BI, Genus etc will see CC to start of profit. If the companies are manufacturing and paying for the pleasure costs from our side will be very few.

Woolley, don't talk daft. If you have an indication of losses what are they. Things have not changed since December so where is this all coming from.
Contracts are starting to be fulfilled, money is coming in, early leases must be making returns. We know existing costs roughly so just need to know income, it is there, just needs to be detailed.

It could be this mornings statement by Trump against China and those dealing with them.
Once trade deals are sorted he will be back in with China, all politics.

Hello LTI. Yes I was impressed with the manufacturing, my son is an electronics technician and he will recognise most components I'm sure but it looked clean and tidy like most electronics clean rooms.
jake, a little thought backwards, did it cross your mind that may be following the London meeting that JC took on board comments about lack of clarification in RNS.
Colour, I was not going to correspond with you until 20p but this is a separate issue, through bitter experience we all know that time seems to be irrelevant in Smart because of Governments but for CC it is all coming to a head. In the case of R&D all software companies start in the Red, I have been invested in ARM years back. However look at ARM and InTel, they may be exceptions but they did well in the end.

I am different from you regarding data. On FTSE that would be scrutinised but with start ups, long in tooth possibly, spending a lot on R&D, you expect losses. Software companies loose for years but seem to keep high SP's on promises.
As I see it costs have been spent and returns are now looked for.
