Hello jake.. As you can see RNS's do not give every little detail but just the basic facts otherwise you would now be complaining that the RNS was misleading. It was not overly informative but can you imagine a large car manufacturer giving a detailed account of all of contract signings, in minute detail. Only a stupid CEO would sign an open ended contract so I content that there were limitations..
JC has probably got in excess of £800k tied up in CC and now worth a third. The advanced Omni product which may have been achieved by ingenious design plus a bit of luck plus IPv6 has bought us to a position of having a valuable commodity, where the R&D has been completed and it is about to sell.
Tying up with BI for part R&D will cut some future costs. Better than Silver Springs who being bought by Itron are committed to them.
Did not quite understand last line of 'alternative contract equipment manufacturer'. I think that means CC will use them if we get a large order that a manufacturer cannot cover. That is a quess.

Thanks for that LTI.. Much in line with my way of thinking. The limitation of numbers for BI was really already known just the stirrers who nit picked. JC used another word for my Turnkey but basically BI manufactures CC in their meters giving them at little cost an edged to say there are AMI meters were ready to start RF without individual SIMS and could be rolled out by the millions, if required, without complex setups.

Here is some fact and fiction (theory) mixed as I see it:
BI, $4m, 2years, at say $2 per unit equals 2m units, roughly 100,000 pm, $200,000 pm, that's cash.
These meters are being made for their clients (not for CC) and when fitted will be activated by CC and leasing begins.
UK, SMETS2, approx 40m meters, £24m for 10%, expected 20% with poss 30%, say 3 years, £8m py, 650,000 pm.

Obviously nobody knows at this stage but I assume BI has ready waiting clients, not putting them in stockroom.
If actuation was at $10 each, possibly too high, then return would be $1,000,000 pm.
With UK I said that if the 30% RF was needed we could see an income of £70 -75m over the period.
I could stand corrected on this one but I thought I heard JC indicate similar at meeting or did I fall asleep.
We will see on video when available.
Whilst all this is going on we have Iran, Mysore spreading, Europe, Rest of India and surrounds.
The new advanced Omni will also open many doors.

Well jake, you are not stirring although you obviously try to in the nicest manner.
What I am saying is that you get the pertinent points of a contract not every line, otherwise you would be the director.
The one exception so far is the UK SMETS2 where the Dept publishes detail.
LTI provides us with details he comes across from time to time and other publisher release stories but the rest is guesswork or people we know in the industry. Colour is a prime example with EESL, depends on how far up the ladder it occurs.

Ho, Colour, you must contain yourself. Nobody on this BB is going to be outraged. You should go to Cambridge if only to be sociable. I only put together facts and the odd hearsay, apply a bit of logic, calculate if share is worth keeping, selling, increasing etc. The fact is CC is on its way, especially with upgraded Omni, we now have footings in UK, Europe, India, China, Iran etc, etc. Our connection with BI could speed up our problem areas currency wise. I hope you disposed of all of your CC shares as it is illogical for you to hold them. I bet ITT is still in and Stedon has rejoined, unlike you they have not got their head in the sand.
Do go along to Cambridge and sort out your differences, it might help JC and might make you a better investor.

Well Colour, you know exactly why they will not converse with the likes of you. Anything that is a bit secret or adverse to them you would spread it all round media, so give up or tow the line as an investor.
It's my money as well as yours that is at stake here. You depress the SP someone pulls out and loose and it is down to you. AIM companies are always sitting on the verge and this one is about to take off with all the long termers if they keep their cool.

I now have my attention towards EESL, if they via other connections are receiving meters for their better off from Genus, L+T, BI then we may possibly be in all of them. India is not going to stand still with their modernisation.

Well Colour, as a shareholder I try to put a hopeful spin on things. Well not really a spin because I feel what I am saying is a good interpretation of current situation and a very optimistic view of 2019.
You on the other hand cannot see the upside of anything.
Last year I raised a technical issue with JC and he invited me to Cambridge. I should not for one moment think I was an exception, so when you have raised issues with JC, especially where you have been criticising the whole company I don't doubt that you and say ITT have also been invited to sort out your differences. As a matter of interest have you been also invited, a simple answer will do. Just YES or NO, this where honesty comes in.

Morning, I don't think we need to worry how CC protects their income, having spent great sums on R&D they are not going to let it slip away.
At present we have come to end of the bulk R&D, reached a point where June18 Omni has become very desirable at presumably a good price, JC has achieved a deal with a major Chinese supplier and revenues are about to arrive also from UK.
I personally think the Chinese deal will open us to the world without any costly any large sums, as it is principally software. I should imagine that BI are paying under $2 a unit (so 2 million or more production) and as a new agreement are probably intending to increase their production.
I think BI sees RF being an easy application that can go anywhere and demand be easily met. They will have the advantage in China and that alone is probably worth billions. If Omni is truly multi-platformed and can fit any occasion it must be ultimate software for this need. It meets the standards of security, wall penetration and distance travel.
If CC lets manufacturers take these licences, for quick delivery etc, and CC hold the Turnkey then it is a new world.

Well Vas I think that summary 13.22 is virtually correct. At present a Utility or EESL approaches a manufacturer and says "I would like 100,000 units with RF Smart interoperable and secure", could you supply. The supplier then has to organise production, does not happen overnight, Utility says require delivery in one month. Not possible.
Alternative scenario, BI produces millions of meters at a nominal licence fee to sit there with dormant CC software (I think that I have heard that expression before), right says BI one month. Upon delivery actuation and licence fees are negotiated.
Sounds fairly obvious but very rewarding.

Hi All..
I have been doing some decorating over weekend, helps me to assess situations.
In India Smart including RF will take off as population gets accustomed to advances in electricity. China supplies meters to India and surrounding countries but there is always the worry of security in the region which has a high priority.
CC is GCHQ approved so can be trusted. With BI supplying to India, Bangladesh, Pakistan (?) there is good protection in using CC's software.
I do not think Genus etc. will object to us also being in BI meters as I think they are fully stretched with current demand for millions and millions.
As 2018 ran out I believe CC wanted to show that they had achieved the contract with BI but it was a bit late to honestly include any of the $4m in 2018 figures. However this will kick the 2019 figures off nicely.
If my assumptions are anywhere near correct there should be a massive lift of sales in 2019.
We are looking for the break-even base line of £700,000 income a month. That must be soon in sight and with recurring revenues from then on and of course additional new sales.

Here is a little conundrum.. BI have paid for the right to manufacture the module in their meters NOT to activate them. They are happy to display CyanConnode openly in/on their meters NOT hide it in White Label. To me they are exceedingly pleased to have CC onboard and they are a big company. So they want us in there as they sell their meters round the world so that they can activate them, when licenced, CC there and ready. Hope you are keeping up, to me that means $4m is peanuts, to start the ball rolling, with a really massive market.

Hello All.. Just come back on BB after sorting out my Broadband renewal.
Not fully read comments but looking after my own money I was content with meeting to the extent that I feel assured and looking forward to good disclosures in coming weeks.
I should think that the video of meeting will be pushed out as soon as possible, the Chinese contract was very interesting to me and has a new angle which to me was logical and good. I did not comment further as everybody interprets differently.
I was pleased as I felt it put a positive slant how to get round possible engagement problems in Mid-East.
Do not sell, wrong time, wait for video.
I think that whilst the company has been doing the rounds to stimulate business it is now retracing of these old venues to accelerate its PR side. If Beijing starts extolling us around Far-East and CC goes to press UK, Europe and Mid-East we will be in amongst the big boys. Only my opinion.
