Hello BST...
I was relating to the current charts not 5 year.
The matter is whether we have reached the bottom.
It has been a rough ride and a few bob lost but are we about to see a rise from now until the end of the year.
All the costly groundwork has been laid and the next few months will tell, could be very exciting.
If the new updated Omni is all that it is supposed to be then we could do very well. I'm confident but we will know shortly.

Hello ITT egged on by Big Ted.. Its not the end of the world chart wise. We know that each month 460k goes out on information supplied by CC. It is just a pity that they are not as up front about income. That is where it is all going wrong, income on a monthly basis is coming in from various places including old Connode but we are not told monthly so it is a one-sided equation. If for instance outgoing is down to 200k we would all be happy for time being.

woolley we all feel the same regarding cash but the next few months will give the final statement of affairs. R&D done for present. UK under way at last. India looks good, next few tenders will determine. BI could go well for us, at no cost, especially around the world, unusual because normally somebody has to pay the piper.
B.B agreed CC RF works on the node system but CC is not running it exclusively in a private set up. We are an add on for notspots. Mapping shows the poor areas where RF comes into its own for bulk notspots but there are many other small areas where one or two are isolated, yet CC RF needs 4 to be connected, that is an excuse.
A scenario, fitter goes down a road, fits smart meter at 39 all OK, goes to 41 no signal fits HAT2 no aerial but gets RF signal and fits HAT2, goes to 43 fits smart meter SIM ok, moves on. Rest of road OK.
Does this happen or doesn't it.
These odds and sods are all additional to bulk connections.

B.B/woolley.. I replied to recent posts but didn't go through. May be I got banned or was it that LSE doesn't work very well. Didn't say anything outstanding.

Spot on Pedro.. All start ups (bit long in the tooth now) have problems, money, BOD member, product etc.
Money has been scarce over the years, BOD's have come and gone, product however has just improved more and more, at a cost, but is now ready to go. Hold ups all along have been Governments wanting too much for too little and the delays that has caused has meant more R&D to keep up.
JC has developed various styles of licensing etc and all this is about to pay off. Hopefully y/end results will be good.

I agree, the word 'activate' relating to Smart is the meter is installed> cannot get a SIM signal> takes off HAT1 and puts on HAT2 tests for aerial signal> if non finally 'activates' CC RF. As I understand it this was being done in one go so as not to need repeat visit. By charting the UK Toshiba obviously know their good SIM areas but there are still dead spots within this. I think CC got it wrong regarding 500k but I am sure more and more are going in to avoid the Press saying system is not working.
I am still puzzled about this need for 4 CC RF's to be connected together if they are only looking for an SIM signal from an active SIM meter. May be cost but equally likely an excuse to DCC for not connecting. Somebody might be on here having in depth knowledge of the electronics.

Woolley.. Considering the low level of SP recently from a chart point of view we could well be on the way.
You are going to get buyers and sellers at all SP levels so as long as this is a breakout we could be moving.
We have not heard concrete news but things are in place.
All we need to know for stability is income and any bad debts, i.e. non receipts for installations and maintenance.
Cash in the bank is a priority and will probably start coming in more regularly.

Hello BST.. Yes you are right. Unfortunately at the time it did appear to be the case. Political interference all over the place including UK have meant very slow take-offs. However R&D now complete, SMETS2 is now underway despite previous delays and don't forget we are only involved thereafter not SMETS1. India is starting up and BI's about to come online.
I think this year is nearer a certainty. Didn't you say that you had cashed in at beginning of year. Take it your back in.
Charts are performing to my expectations.

Hello ITT.. You may be right and we may be putting the frighteners on. I wish that I had never raised the 500k issue.
The UK contract is there so that does not change and could well improve if Northern Contract needs CC help.
My current view is that unless something like 5G develop's and I do not think that at all likely regarding 'Smart' because of price and volumes needed then we will get our 25% of the market and possibly more if Northern comes into it.
BI if eager could do well for CC as we will get our embedded money and whatever comes along with triggering turnkeys anywhere in the World. China internally will expand with RF if only with 'notspot'.
Anybody who comes in now is on a winner, I consider money basics are there once we get income improving from UK; India, Mysore etc will start to show income from fixtures maintenance; JST is quiet but probably touting for business from a pretty big Far East.
Just my thoughts.

Hi B.B.. Last shot at this as we may be digging ourselves into something that is not going to change our lives.
I am aware of the 500k being licences which I was not aware of at the acquisition, not happy on that although we would still to have to purchased for the sake of IPv6.
My only question was have these 500k units been installed as indicated by 'activated'. If so CC is now into new licences at this time and first installation fees. May be up North perhaps. I think not, more likely the HAT2 are pre-activated and sitting in the fitters bag.
The other question that I think I raised and JC will probably be able to answer is why do we need to have 4 CC RF connected together. If they just seek a SIM nearby then 1 should work. Is this an excuse to stick RF to back of queue and go for easy pickings.

Hello Imperial..Sorry to disagree, I may be wrong, but my understanding is that it is the 500k units that were pre-sold to Connode before we took them over. 10% notspots of 500k equals 5,000,000 total SMETS2 installations. We are at 2,000,000.
There cannot be others, don't forget CC is only involved in SMETS2. 10% of which would be 20,000 units unless we are up North but even that is stretching it.

Hello Bull.Bear.. Perhaps you will get a reply on here from YJ to your open letter.
However don't let us get too hasty seeing that the SP is now moving upwards.
I thought again about the Commercially Sensitive comment and what it could possibly mean.
My mind comes to the problems occuring in North. Some months back I heard that any spare SMETS1 were being moved up there. However I didn't know if that was north tip of our contract or right up North.
At this time who knows but they may have sent SMETS2 CC RF's up there as until yesterday they were under extreme time limits.
Only my thoughts but SP is moving.

I think that there is some excitement to come, for the good that is. These may be's up to the end of October are better than where R&D was costing a fortune and we had got nowhere near this far.
One more holding of breath should be sufficient.

Still strong buy but with hesitancy. That's contradictory. Received further response from YJ yesterday on 500k units. I am of the opinion that they are not all installed but floating around to be used where necessary to push things along. Apparently this information is commercially sensitive, cant see why but now that UK has been extended to 2024 it feels like it is going to be a long haul. Income from UK will mount from 2020 but my eye will be back to India and BI. There is a lot going on there.

All, still awaiting my follow up reply from YJ. Don't think it is a problem. Logic tells me that you could not have 500,000 CC RF units installed in that time frame but it would be nice.
Vas.. does seem surprising that such small buys shifted the SP, possibly the number of blues on screen, remember my pointing last year to 5m shares bought in one go that didn't hardly move SP.
I think that there is something afoot with maybe in-the-knows buying and dealers aware.
Could be further involvement (North) with UK. Or India about to break-out, my feeling of Anil was that he was very positive when I spoke to him. Are we going to be updated on BI. What of the China contacts, big market.

Good finish to week. We have had false starts in the past, mainly due to politics. As most R&D complete, UK taking off with possible involvement also in North contract, India about to explode hence JC doing the tour, BI about to get underway at their expense, other possibles in China, I feel we stand a decent chance of rapid progress.
There's always that need for 'notspots'/building penetration and Security which CC RF seems to provide along with IoT capability. Next couple of weeks should be interesting.

Now, now BST.. Come down in the world a bit.
