Just need to turn the loss element to neutral.

ITT, such a pessimist. Just because CC does not declare income speedily enough for my liking it does not mean that there is no income from Mysore, Connode etc.
CC declared their costs and reducing costs sometime back, giving you the opportunity to highlight (08:20) the negative side but no income. Just wait and see then moan if you have to.

Hello MrS.. JC has put times, not so precise, in the past. I think the intention is good but in this industry things change monthly. I will be satisfied if positive moves are set in motion and we are told more on income, debts and bad debts.

Hello Seawolf.. No, I would not go along that path. None of us knew how difficult and unstable the Smart market was going to be when we chipped in and possibly not even JC.
A CEO in AIM must know his business as there is no one else to lay the job off to.
If you had a new CEO he would probably be a money man who would not see the future prospects and decide to wind up company. I don't think any of us would want that at this stage of the game.
I would not say the 'FUTURE IS ORANGE', LOL, but it is definitely there.

Hello ITT.. I don't think that the market has a low opinion of JC. Capability and assets are two entirely different subjects.
Ideally to be in the Smart Market you really need to be a big boy but luck (we need it) may be on our side if we can get a few more BI's. All these companies need a solution to 'notspots', others may have the answer also but it is a matter of the price. availability, how easily it can be adopted into a system. We may find that Inhemeter have a need for us.
Fingers crossed the next few months could bode well for us.

Hello 2cv.. We will see by 31st. The upside of all this, if there is an upside, is that whilst CC is capable of leading whole project (Mysore) the main outlet is notspots and interoperability and being able with last improvement to cope with various platforms, still maintaining buildings penetration and now longer distance coverage.
My eye is now set on BI, no cost and ultimately income, plus wherever RF is needed as an add-on to fill the notspot gap it can easily be attached. Recently I was reading the DLMS/COSEM standards, out of my league, but my thoughts were if CC can do all that JC says it can, is cost effective and can be used to fill the gaps anywhere, then there is a permanent market.
JC stuck his head above parapet giving date but I think he knows he needs to at least give an update by 31st.

Bit cheeky BST. I think you said some good things about CC in the past and Sage was quite knowledgeable.
Incidentally correct me if I am wrong but didn't you have 500k invested at one time, not sure if that was money or 500m shares, yes we used to deal in millions of shares.

Hello 1967.. Yes things certainly have not gone to plan over the years but the product has improved all the time, at a cost; now the situation is as good as it is going to get. Most pitfalls have been politics and dare I say R&D and before anybody, executive costs.
If we do not get on the downhill slope within the coming 6-12 months even I will doubt success.

Good possibility there Vas. Anil is usually left to deal with India affairs but JC was doing the rounds last month.
Could well meet end of October deals, this is getting as exciting as Boris.

Imperial, regarding CC being out of Iran they did say under current circumstances (my words) so not fully out.
If you had to make a disclosure statement in this political environment wouldn't you make an arms-length distance one.

Well BST, that does not look good for future dealings in Iran. Surprised that they could supply that many meters within Iran. Has BI got a factory, assembly or outlet there.

Thanks Vas.. Now all we need to know is income, LOL. My view is the UK is the stabiliser, leaving rest of the world to make the profits. SMETS2 will build up from now on, income should have been coming in this year, was predicted as 2018 but due to the 500k we are told now 2020.
We now need to make sure all debts, leasing payments etc are arriving on time, considering locations these are sometimes coming from.
I look forward to a London meeting if could be arranged, no pressure JC, at this juncture the state of play (income and outgoings) needs to be known quarterly. That is what the City will looking for.

Hello ITT.. You have to laugh. Stand up the man who said SMS has rising income.
Bet he has not got any of their shares, otherwise he will think he is on another looser.
Only picks up what he can stir with.
He needs to know the business, oh I have heard that before.
Good returns coming for CC, although not a lot of cash around, all work done and just a matter of time.
Be nice if JC arranged another open update meeting in London

Hello ITT.. weak buy is for CC not SMS, lol. I thought somebody on here said don't worry about them. Well their shareholders are, falling from over 800 to 372.
Do not know if they manufacture meters or just fit them and other things. Probably got caught out with having to do return visits.
Although CC have only got 'notspots' we are probably in a much better UK position. With SMETS1 the problem was interoperability, so properties needing 'notspot' attention were left for later conversion. Unless I am wrong the notspots remain at 10%, possibly up to 25%, of totals. My reasoning is SMETS1 was not designed for notspots, they fixed the changing Utilities problem but notspots are all sitting out there awaiting attention from HAT2.
If we also have any involvement with Northern/Scottish contract we should do very well.
Admittedly spread over several years but I can see CC's 25m GBP forecast rising to 50m - 75m and possibly more.
