Hello Colour.. These are only my judgments upon reading various articles. You do the same, boasting EESL ordered 5m units here and 5m units there, a lot of which did not materialise and most were not smart, now you proceed to rubbish India generally.
jake.. To me half of Market is fact and half is sentiment, take the software companies around 2000, some had P/E's of 30+ yet on profit.
It now all depends on what the Market makes of Boris's moves. FTSE100 rising at present but it takes a few days to sink in, the Market likes decisiveness from Government but then does its calculations.
Awaiting CC's 31st March statement then we will know.

Well it did not take you long Colour.. You will probably tell me all of your knowledge and qualifications. CC is pushing ahead with its contracts and new direction of leasing. The latest product, which I feel will tick many of these FAR-East boxes will now start to build a great demand. It has got a good reputation despite your attempts to rubbish it and India constantly.
Now is a good time to buy in but DYOR everyone because we are on AIM but worth in depth reading.

Arden has produced a note today.
Their Target Price of 7p, I feel, can now be easily achieved.

Good to have upbeat news. We knew CC had achieved by the Thailand contract, it was a matter of how big and how fast it would roll out. I think that in next six months there will be a lot of small signings. That's why you have a sales team.
Providing SMETS2 does not get hung up in UK that will provide the basis money. Although the critics pick one small contract spread in over 5 years and come up with peanuts that not the way it's done, one small contract after another together with leasing and maintenance means the pot is building. Only idiots or anti CC'c cannot see that. My opinion, and I wait for the backdraught, is CC will build exponentially from now on. Everybody DYOR but it feels good to me. Only my opinion.

Thanks for that write up. My thoughts as well, I am not technical but have seen some good software products floated on the market over the years.
My current take is CC is self contained, can now cover all aspects of smart comms and probably at as near a good price as can be achieved. Meter manufacturers are experts at their trade but never had to consider anything outside of a dumb meter, now this new world comes along which is handy from the point of view of Command and Control but not in their sphere of operation, except that Itron is giving it a try, so if CC can produce an All-In-One comms package it stands a very good chance of being attractive to all manufacturers. I had the feeling that CC was progressing when Genus ran a credit line, big company and satisfied. It will very interesting what CC has to tell us in these coming weeks.

Vas, stop getting grumpy.. You would be upset if certain people knew and you didn't, you know the site is there. I read it.
The point is now you know are you happy with what you read. It's probably quicker and cheaper to do a newsletter and we know an RNS (the big stuff) is on the way.
To me this new combination keeps us either ahead or at least in with the flock. Don't know how its going to proceed is it built in as a dual software with RF switch on when needed, or an inside the box add on as a dual module or two single modules put in when required. As RF costs pennies to physically produce I would not be surprised if dormant inside all at little cost and priced by 'turnkey' when activated. That means EESL gets the best of both worlds, Cellular priced in, and RF when needed, limiting additional costs to only when needed but all within meter so just switch to the platform required. That would cover a lot of bases.

Unnamed partners etc, was it all being held back until absolutely confirmed.

Indian State owned Utility.
RF Smart Mesh and Cellular network.
So who is Partner, State Utility, and we are supplying RF and Cellular, think about it Colour.

Nothing of the sort Colour. Events change from time to time. Along the way Pipelines have been created and then collapsed, different directives have come out from EESL and not succeeded, 5m meters, 5 m meters there that CC where not involved in but mainly coming to nothing. As you keep saying India is a waste of time. Just may be now it is all coming together.
So the new R&D will put CC in as good a position as any. Even if we got a crack at just the 'notspots' that is good money.

Thanks for that LTI.. Well spotted, the new products will be good for India by having both RF Mesh and Cellular offering to the likes of EESL.
Look forward to the end of year report. The new product seems very versatile, obviously R&D have not been sitting on their backsides. That range I would think would cover most worldwide requirements.

Well Colour that is new, I thought you knew all.
You are not a relative of Strong and the others are you.
Scenario: EESL goes ahead and CC RF pick up the 'notspots'. or
EESL does not go ahead and Utilities, still being strapped, look around for Smart alternatives. Look at INDORE and see a solution and get in touch with them to see how they went about it, what they currently think of it, costs and recovery time.
Of course notwithstanding either CC still has the private Utilities and surrounding countries to offer services to.

Look at it closely 'Strong'. Do not read stupid comments into a straight forward comment.
If EESL do not go ahead with it because of lack of money, presumably from Government, then Utilities will have to resort to self funding or go bust.
Private sector favours RF, INDORE is making a success of it, and says so, Thailand is interested, Bangladesh is interested, Southern India is interested and so on. I don't think that EESL can threaten the state Utilities unless it comes up with the cash and they will put pressure on the Government for action. They see money to be saved and they need it.

My logic is GPRS is now on, in error I would think, because EESL has solved the missing link CC RF. It had to have the 'notspot' coverage of RF and brought CC into the fold begrudgingly. So GPRS needs RF otherwise it cannot complete.
If of course for financial reasons EESL does not go ahead with Mass Roll Out, which it has not done up to yet, then Utilities may have to put their hands in their wallets and follow INDORE, who seem to be happy bunnies saving money.
Lets face it that's the name of the game. The grass is greener hey 'Greengrass'. Is that a good enough answer Strong.

That is the whole point Strong, EESL has gone GPRS, not through efficiency but purely money yet it looks like they cannot even afford that.
INDORE on the other hand, who like to be top at everything, are making headway with Smart Metering using RF..
I do not think that they got assistance, being private, but we will probably be told the in's and out's of the complete set up which I believe covers 15 zones.
If the Government proposals become dead in the water the Utilities still need to achieve reductions in losses.
It would suit the situation if they all became private and followed INDORE. A limited layout by them could quickly be Canopied out using the money they saved along the way to expand. It would not happen over night but at present they are going nowhere.
Experts postulate that RF would be the most efficient for India and yet EESL seeking initial bottom line costs is still pursuing GPRS. Hope it passes all the security requirements to eventually see daylight.

Well Vas.. Looking at that it would appear to be very quiet. Has EESL got cash to hand for advancements. They say they have, I don't think EDF will give them extended credit, LOL.
I think current intentions have gone round in a circle and, much to Colour's annoyance, I feel that INDORE is the only Utility to actually come out with an income improvement statement. If they increase their order and Thailand starts it's installation and Bangladesh follows INDORE then, allowing for the Virus, we may see some forward movement.

Well Colour, although CC not involved in stock market in normal sense in not being moved by it's overall dealings this time I think we caught the extremes of the hurricane. Makes you wonder where the FTSE will bottom.
Certainly hope that if there are any 'beyond control' statements JC makes us aware.
Commerce is seen to be stalling at present and be about to batten down the hatches and look toward governments.
