Well Colour my recollection is roughly, SMETS2 was put back a year, these pipeline contracts dried up or were reduced and other possibles were delay by elections. There were probably others.
Once we are out of this Virus period, which was not CC's fault by the way and is worldwide, we may be able to progress.
In the meantime all shares are suffering. All DYOR, not that there is much.
Simple observation is sit it out or cash in.

I think that this year will see net costs drop to that £375k mark.

Hello Colour.. I think the Omni reference is probably the Cellular adaptation. Which if I remember makes it suitable for all (or most) circumstances.
I think that the monthly costs allowing for depreciation, exchange rates etc nearer £480k pm. and of course we are told constantly reducing to £375.
I only find out by asking so may be on this occasion you could satisfy your queries by ringing CC or JC.

Well Colour we all know that 2019 saw a slowdown in forecast connections and income. What was anticipated for H2 was put back to H1 2020. Monthly costs, which were for 2019 are reducing and the £375k I feel should show itself during 2020. There are certain things such as loan amount which JC should have priced but generally speaking report being retrospect does not cover what is happening 2020. I feel that the business is there but will it suffer setbacks initially from the costs Governments and consumers are meeting because of the Crisis.

Colour, that comment was a typo and be 'we should see 2020 through'. By that I mean the end of 2020. We shall be lucky to see profit this year with what is going on but just to keep the books stable would be sufficient.
We may get a dip in SP but everybody is in the same boat.

Woolie, all politicians take advantage of situations as long as they don't score an own goal.
As long as the world does not claim force majeure we should come out of tunnel in one piece.
CC is holding up, considering situation and tomorrows statement. A few may get cold feet but I expect CC has secured enough contracts (or near to) to see us through to end of year, profit will be questionable but as long as we do not make a loss. I think with the Indore, Southern India, Thailand etc decisions being well advanced we should see 2020 though.
Only my opinion and definitely a time to DYOR and satisfy yourselves.

Trouble is Vas, no country truly plans for an epidemic. We are chucking billions at this. I may be totally wrong but I think the rot started when Trump brought US home from China then everybody else followed, that's politics.
People are mad about travel then panic to get home and possibly bring Virus's home with them.
Flights are still coming in despite the UK crisis.
All the cash could have be given to these countries telling them to accommodate our people, poss not that easy.
We have problems if this type of crisis occurs every 8 to 10 years and gets worse each time.
Modi's problem is the size of India and it's various stages of development.
The hope to turn round 100 years of no progress within 10 years was going to be hard under perfect conditions.
Transforming electricity will obviously be a major starting point but a crisis like this does not help.

Well Colour we know you have not got a good thought for CC/JC and we know the world is a bit chaotic at the moment but are you saying that CC will not rise from this situation. Don't forget everybody is in the same predicament, the main stocks are going up and down so CC will not be immune. Until we know the CC statement we are possibly all thinking the worst.
Last year did not go to plan but Anil seems to have worked hard to establish CC.
We have been around the 2p mark for some time so the bottom line could be 1p. due to the crisis, hopefully not.
There is not a lot for JC to play with, DYOR.

These are trying times. CC is used to running on small amounts of cash. The question is what has recently come in, what employee allowances 2500 can they rely on esp in India etc, what income there is from existing leases etc.
Just at moment who know's with SP.

Hello tony.s.. Normally I would agree but as everything has stopped that's everything, so unless they are producing Contracts from home there has to be a fair amount of intercourse and onsite confirmation. Hopefully enough work has been done to just await restarting whenever that is.

Well ITT, don't usually agree with you but do read you. There is a bit of logic in your current thought, this BB is probably the busiest that I have ever seen but it is still the case of what is said by company or reporters that counts, not us so much. I will keep my responses to minimum in future. In closing I would say hang on to your shares (not much option) as you never know.

All. It is a bit disconcerting although expected that India is also locked down. Our two main sources. Regardless of contracts signed if installers cannot get into homes everything presumably goes on hold,including income.

Well Colour to me business plans are always hopefuls.
We know that JC took CC away from straight forward sales to leasing's.
Money is always an anticipation providing all goes well but apart from being sluggish where is CC different from its ideals.
Or is it just money, which requires a lot of faith.

Hello Colour.. I am not really concerned that EESL did not achieve their bulk buy and roll out, more that you said CC was out of the running with India and they only wanted basic dumb meters generally. I thought that they like any liberated group that has the restraints lifted want the lot, especially now having Internet and seeing the goodies in the world for the first time..
If you feel that CC are not going to achieve volume in India what are you thinking the SP will result in 1p.
They seem to be doing well with their latest update but you do not think it will succeed, why?.
Jake, the FTSE100 has dropped 2,500 approx over last couple of months but rose today, so may be bottom but experts appear to think another support could be needed. We will know about that in the next month but we will know our fate with CC before then.
