What does moonshot look lielke?
30 tests per person with each person testing on a daily basis over the month.

Peto : Everyone should be tested weekly.
Contacts of positive people who test negative could choose continued home quarantine or, at little extra risk, choose to join a group of up to 10 test-negative contacts (usually with other family members). Subsequent weekly national testing, together with behavioural changes and efficient contact tracing, would find progressively fewer infections and might soon be extended to a month. This emergency system would only be needed for about 2 months but could be rapidly reintroduced to control any future epidemic
caused by a new virus.

Sounds like a good plan now!

Grant Shapps stated this morning (10/9/20) that the technology for mass testing does not exist!

Cambridge professor worried about false positives in mass testing.
1% false positives would generate 660k + their contacts.
I recall Klaus in the webinar stated that he was worried about false positives. Now I understand why.

RichKen, I agree. In the absence of a vaccine I would like to see Govt finding for the Avacta Therapeutic.
Hell, from a standing start late in the day we have produced a product that will get the country back on track. Hopefully, Govt provides the funds ( which comnercially driven big pharma with a vested interest in antibodies have not) for this development.
Avacta solutions have won the day. LFT, BAMS, sewerage monitoring, ELISA (x500).
What a list of success.
Let Avacta be funded for the Therapeutic which would herald the arrival of affirmers in pharmaceutical history!

Operation Moonshot has a lot of technical and logistical challenges that needs to be addressed. Spring 2021 was mentioned by BJ in todays press conference (9/9/20, "hands, face, space") as a time frame.
Paraytech 5 minute test should come to fruition in October. 3 weeks away. If this technology works then £50M of funding available from Govt to roll it out. This 5 minute test could be the game changer.
BRH market cap £5M.
Potential 50 + bagger here if the technology works.
Paraytech have not missed the boat. Boat does not sail till spring 2021.

Just think where the country would be without the Operation Moonshot Lateral Flow Test. Government is putting a lot of effort in ensuring this works, rather than rushing a test out. When it's ready its ready. Avacta test is Operation Moonshot, thats good enough for me!
