I think the danger here is to look at the price every 10 minutes. Covid 19 is unfortunately part of our lives for the forseeable. A lot of talk about antibody testing here today to try and spook people but I can assure you as somebody who knows a little about the industry that the antibody and antigen tests have different functions. The share has had a great rise and because the wind is still firmly in its sails should rise further on more capacity and forward order details. Enjoy the ride but don't get too upset if the shares dip and rise. The direction of travel I believe is only one way until fully valued and that is some way off. Enjoy being involved with this share. Much less risky than the companies who are trialling drugs as nothing seems to show clear evidence of working when properly scrutinised.
The antibody test have all failed to date. The UK government ordered millions of them and they failed when tested under rigorous conditions. I think we are some way still from a robust test. Notwithstanding that, the need to test for antigen does not alter one iota. The world needs to know who has covid so robust antigen testing is here for the duration and totally unaffected by antibody testing which is there to see if you have immunity (very difficult to get this accurate enough currently).
This was used in a few trials in China and some anecdotal evidence of it working. Lots of other anti virals and anti inflammatory biologics are being trialled. One hopes there is a magic bullet somewhere. this is not only a nast virus but a clever one with mighty defences. Its a shame Lupusor was not in the mix!
Given hydroxychloroquine is being tried to help in Covid 19 due to its action on auto immune diseases such as Lupus, have the company thought about trying Lupus? It’s all a game if chance currently but you never know and there must be something in this given the interest and dwindling supplies of hydroxychloroquinine
Maybe enough to compel you to get in the game. Life is too short Nolupus to be on the sidelines imo as you would say (which is so annoying) To those in the game - good RNS today. Will help in the slow turnaround in the sp I am sure
Not necessarily 3 to 4 years for further trials. Phase 3s do not take that long if needed. You should know that! No guarantee at all that other treatments will be approved before then anyway. You have no inside knowledge of the outcome of trials. Another example of negativity and de-ramping. I'm still trying to understand your motives. Wine taster, tyre kicker or just someone who gets off on touting negativity on BBs? take your pick
Targeted therapy is the future of medicine. Few medicines these days have a broad impact on all cohorts. There looks to be a strong response in the positive antibody group. This combined with the excellent safety which is beyond dispute offers great hope for the future. AZ had a drug called Iressa that missed is primary end point in lung cancer. It turned out to be a miracle drug for a 10% sub type where it is now used. Lupuzor I am confident will get to market. It needs a partner in my view as investment will be required. The sp does not reflect this opportunity currently. I have worked in the industry for 30 years and seen many successes and failures but I do believe the Lupuzor story will get stronger. Time will tell. I am invested and have bought and sold here many times. I am taking a three year view here and letting things run. Good luck to my fellow investors and I'm still trying to understand the motives of the doomsayers with little Pharma perspective such as Nolupus especially if not invested.
Nolupus, have you invested yet? Maybe some counselling to wean you off BB where you are a non investor. Good to see the sp ticking up. Oversold for sure and still some value to be had. I have taken a kicking but I had my eyes open so I'll live with it. I'm taking a 3 year view here now and think I'll mitigate some of those paper losses. Good luck to the real investors. Let's keep the faith
Nolupus, have you considered finding a job. Very fulfilling. Beats hanging around on BB in shares you are not invested in. The science of finding a job would probably interest you given your intellect. There is a life out there. Try to find one!
Nolupus, do you not have another hobby? Genuine investors who were not being default negative have played the game and taken a hit. Do you get off on this? Clearly you don't invest so therefore you must just be kinky? Get a life and leave the BB to people who are in the game. I hate tyre kickers
Why ask Nolupus. My cat would deliver a better analysis. Results were disappointing but the hurdle set for primary endpoint was very high. The product is not doomed though by any means and I believe in common with a lot of oncology drugs Lupus will find a cohort of patients that do respond very well and even if this cohort is on 10 to 15% it will be a significant brand for IMM and for patients. Will require work and trials to find this but I can see patient access programs in the interim asking for Lupuzor. Still value here. Not a short cut to richness but still an interesting game to be in. I'm underwater considerably but I knew the risks and stayed in the game. A good recovery play for now.
