The testing landscape will evolve. There is no quick solution to all of this and testing will be a feature for the next 12 months in very high amounts and the following 12 months though it will decrease in volumes. Novacyt will of course benefit from this and make far more than their market value in profit over this time (maybe £500M+). So even if you value everything else they do at zero the share is very under valued. This is temporary of course. It will get a re rate in the next week or so. I think £5.50 to £6.00 is a sensible range currently and fair value.
Having spent a life time building sales teams I can only tell you this is an investment to bring about growth. The US is a great market and the biggest in the World by a mile. It is great to see them attacking this. I really struggle to put a negative on this. Only a BBC journalist or Guardian writer could pull out the negative here!
I am staggered that this BB is populated with people who cannot understand the difference between Antigen test and Antibody. You should not be in this stock if you don’t grasp the difference. The tests serve very different purposes. I’m pleased we have an Antibody test if indeed it proves to be accurate. Does not effect Novacyt one iota though.
I dont think we were expecting that people what have had and recovered from Covid would need testing again to see if reinfected. Immunity is always assumed with infections like this once exposed. It is good they have confirmed but does not effect the market opportunity one iota
Be patient...... This is not a penny share now. Need to take a medium term view and its all green lights. It will break £5 maybe not this week but in the next couple for sure. Not fully valued yet.
Agreed. This stock has morphed from a day traders punt to a much more mature medium turn play. The direction of travel of the share price is only up looking at the recent trend and news flow and technical enhancements will see this re rated in the near future. Who knows may even get a dividend with these ever growing sales and I guess profit numbers. Good luck all.
That may be claimed but when tested by MHRA they nver prove accurate enough. If they were reliable we would be doing them believe me as it would support a end to lockdown. Regrettably they simply are not accurate enough. I'm sure they wills ell plenty privately though.
I'm not convinced this is the case. I'm not sure the responsibility of the test result would be put on the home tester without supervision. Also the accuracy of point of care??? Its been elusive for antibodies. Anyway, its an addition to lab testing and not a replacement so no impact on NVCT if you are correct.
