RE: Living on the edge12 Apr 2019 19:24
I wish you the best of luck my friend thankfully I only hold 500 shares now so today has put me down a grand and a bit, some of the losses talked about on here are quite frightening.
However I do think you are being a little foolish (don't take this the wrong way) buying in on the day of a large drop as I have seen so many times before it can keep on dropping and dragging you down further. In fact on being on LSE nearly 10 years I have seen it all gulf keystone, Yell, xcite energy etc. The busiest chat boards are often the very worst investments long term that is.
From Plus500 point of view what worries me is the costs and the fact new customers are simply replacing those that are not trading given a 4% decline in active users. Another worry is the EPC clients generating 50% of the revenue are not mugs so with a 28 million loss trading this quarter what evidence do we have it will be different in the future?
Another worry if that wasn't enough is that coming into the summer months summer is normally quieter for trading and if it was bad now then what then?
