10 years ago I bought some of this for 20p.... later that year sold for 6.3p..
Always keep an eye on this and surprised it is still going. Back in those days penny oilers were all the rage, BPC, XEL, RKH, GKP, FOGL, Aminex, etc.

It's normal. Decent results - hammer the share price. I never average down on the day of a big drop it will probably finish on the low point.

Crazy price reaction today i think. Good solid results and the shares tank. Seems it’s all about hype and momentum divorced from reality.

Maybe, maybe not. Having slashed the dividend to peanuts and a share price that has gone nowhere for years barring huge spikes down and up thinking of getting out of here. It seems to be jam tomorrow all the time .

Yes more to down the the 2.5-3 bn fund raise, if you look at when the RNS came out it dropped like a stone. I'd rather just have the cash than Jackson shares, I don't need anything else to worry about right now!

These days nearly all shares fall by way more than the divvy. Another massive kick in the guts today with Prudential on top of this fiasco. >.<

I think the long and short of it they have paid too much so the market has trashed the sp accordingly. Accuisitions are usually bad news short term as there is always a premium to be paid by the buyer. I have held glen when they bought xta and rdsb when they bought bg ! So i’m always on the wrong side of the deal. Still holding my shares and have been around long enough to know we can bounce back. I just hope the bod know what they are doing and we don’t have another big decline like after Peter Hetherington stood down.

Thing is it's all about 2021 performance, 2020 was already known to be good. Of course you can never predict the future in terms of market volatility, but crashes like we saw last March seem to be once a decade events.

Do you honestly think they give a flying fig about what you do with your shares? Founders with large holdings in companies often sell them down over time it's normal , his money he can do what he wants.

Markets have been positive for a while now which we all know is not good for plus. This makes the revenue stream unpredictable as it only does really well when times are bad. I think this is one of the reasons for the lower valuation compared to it's peers.

I've been in here from the £4 days and have added and sold along the way, I'm happy enough with what I have invested.

Flying again very happy holder here as I bought my shares for 1988.21p back in 2016. Might as well let them run now as div return on my stake has been great up till now

Lots of ftse100 shares had big dumps on the UT so it’s not shell specific. Annoying when this happens as us small investors are not able to take part in the action unless you have direct access to the order book
