we are talking about a UK company to which UK company law applies. As owners of shares, the shareholders have a right to be consulted over major decisions which includes asset sales. Why do you think they can't go ahead and make major acquistions or possible take overs say without putting it to shareholders first? Time for a brew.

I'm not being silly, why do you think they need shareholders approval for important things such as any sale of assets? they are a PLC, can't just do as they merrily like, that's why the Rosgeo money needs to be explained properly as they had to ask for approval from shareholders to raise that by way of flooding extra shares on to the market and to then place and it was stipulated to be for that purpose from recollection. Shareholders are there to hold the Board to account.

What is this rubbish? Of course shareholders are a part of the company, they've bought shares in it for heavens sake.

The bigger your shareholding, the more company profits you are entitled to, and the greater control you have in the company." - again, find the source for yourselves, there's plenty of them. That's why dividends are paid in proportion to the amount of shares you own and the extent to which you can vote is dependent on the number of shares you have.

Hi napthman, yes, very positive. MMs have widened the gap somewhat this morning on the trading front by the looks of it. Let's hope we can now get some more positive forwards movement on sp as we await the very close entry to a news rich period ;)

Shaun says they were able to mobilize a rig within four weeks of the agreement, that's good enough for me napthman, and I'd say that's pretty phenomenal myself, even moving a rig a short distance can be quite complicated I would imagine. The fact that he states they are "hugely excited" makes it even more sweeter. Enjoy your day. I will. Adding more.

A rig to drill there in four weeks is phenomenal progress and that needs to be in capitals PHENOMENAL. I think this just goes to prove how excited Rio Tinto Zinc are as well at this collaboration. It normally takes an age to get a rig to a drill, four weeks is truly outstanding progress. Well done Shaun ;)

Del, I note you're staying away, it's becoming dangerous on here tbh, they're on a mission to drive this up ready for a placing, so you can guess where the instructions are coming from. That said, perhaps best to stay away, but keep doing a list of pros and cons about your investment. Mine had more cons than pros a long time ago as historically, nothing of value has ever happened here, and that's over 20 years, in particular, there is no revenue, but keep doing it and keep reviewing. Please also read the cloudtag forum so you can see that events took a similar turn there led by Aberdeenman who is Mac here and you will perhaps start seeing the patterns! And not just cloudtag, there were others before that. Best of luck Del, I think the Queeld High Court case will definitely be the turning point, whichever way it goes!

Because of the continual abuse thrown at me, so why should I help nuffin and his mates? I'm sure no one else would. I tried to provide a few snippets for you lot to ask, but you didn't, I even said a few months back you need to start compiling questions, but no one listened. I even said seek a resolution for the AGM to have a shareholder co-opted on to the Board so as to speak for shareholders, but no one listened. If you don't have someone, whom everyone trusts, such as Del say, no idea if he would do it, sitting on the Board to represent shareholders, then it's just a one sided four letter word show! You all end up like dummies hanging on to their every word, it's almost cult like to the extreme!

Seamus, if the company are in any way found to be negligent in respect of the Queeld case, eg by dragging their heels and not replacing the certificates when an indemnity was offered, I doubt indemnity insurers will pay out anything! But again, no one asked. The problem is you are all so busy shooting down the people who actually have the valid questions to be asked, I would add, in addition to Del's excellent questions of course, but because we get abused and have so much vitriol thrown at us, what's the point in us trying to help you lot out, there isn't any, and so that's why, in the end, we don't bother.

Don't forget I've also been called "a very dangerous woman" by the Nomad it seems, never mind all the abuse hurled at me by ikn!

Friendsps you conveniently forget to mention that there will be hefty legal bills to pay, possibly the company paying not only their own but Queeld AND Mispare's as well, and they could be in the millions as it's High Court with KC's engaged, but how convenient of you to forget that tut tut!

Friendsps or Nomad, do you believe everything the Board say or do supposedly for the benefit of shareholders? how about they didn't tell anyone that Churakov had sold his shares until after the event? I won't go further, but if you believe them, that's up to you, as I said in my 'regurgitation' post which has been taken down, the board are in effect, glorified salesmen, they are there to promote the company for their benefit, and for the retention of their salaries! Of course the litigation has an impact, it's one of the biggest shareholders in the company taking the company to court, you'd be blind to see otherwise! And did you ask how they intend to pay the damages that will be awarded if they lose the Queeld case? did you ask if they intend to appeal should they lose? did you ask how much the legal costs are to date and how much they are expected to be to the end of the trial? did you ask how much they have paid out to Logik on that case? did you ask where the money is coming from for them to settle it? I doubt it.
