RE: Russian State2 Aug 2023 11:49
Summit I don't have a pay grade unlike you on 50p a post or whatever from time to time. Neither am I a trader. As I have stated many times, I am an investor. Beast has told an outright lie and now you are trying to deflect from the obvious seriousness of the situation which is that minerals underground and unexcavated are the property of the Russian State. To achieve any sale, the company will therefore have to seek Putin's approval. Moving on to my own personal views, Putin and Potanin are very much allies. NN handed these mines over to Eurasia because they weren't interested. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Putin hands them back to NN with Rosgeo involvement, in that the mining licences might be terminated. Minerals remain in State ownership and the State with the help of NN mine them, and British shareholders get nothing. I think the company are facing a massive uphill battle and one which they will not win, and by stating "low visibility" makes me think they are beginning to accept that. The minutes of the meeting of the deputy russian prime ministers in late December, already suggests this to my mind. My views.
