If you're referring to me with that remark, actually it isn't, as borne out in other mining/oil plays such as 88E, eurasia and many more. This will undoubtedly follow the lines of eurasia, except the minerals here are on a safer territory, but it's AIM, and if you look at what happened on eurasia for example, Black Rock and Van Eck played it like a fiddle. A drive up of the sp from the ashes to 42p, and then a dramatic fall back when they ditched. Shaun must do his best to make sure it doesn't happen here and keep building on positive news, and that's why I'm enthusiastic about the involvement of Rio here especially.

If you have any kind of involvement as you suggest, then perhaps you would be wise not to post stating so, as that will be construed as 'insider information'. Best keep it to yourself imo. I'm not here to offend, been around these markets for over 20 years.

It remains a 'strong buy' on msn.com/money, I'm not sure you can really chart a share like this, as it has the propensity to rocket on compelling positive news. If Jupiter, Black Rock and Van Eck are increasing their holdings, then it's a case of follow the money, as they are purely in for shortish term profit, and they will, without doubt, drive the sp forwards, and depart when they've hit their targets. Remember also, they are often party to information which us retail investors don't get! Shaun will want the sp much higher before any possible placing, so as I see it, it's eyes down to watch what Black Rock, Van Eck and Jupiter are doing. If they start increasing substantially then it will be game on. Can anyone with L2 keep us updated please, without breaking the rules of lse of course?!

Keep your eyes on Black Rock, Van Eck, and Jupiter. If they are increasing, which I'm sure they will be doing, MMs will be forced to push sp up as brokers try to garner in more shares for these three. Hawk eyes required now! GLA.

HL moving us up again, at last!

Lambinator, I'm with you on that, unfortunately little chance of me being around in 40 years time either, but then with world affairs as they are, I think everyone just needs to take things one day at a time right now. Excited here though, I like Shaun, I hope I'm right in thinking that he's not out to do the dirty on us, as this is AIM, and I felt more convinced this would come good when Rio Tinto Zinc joined the party. Just hoping at some point before long he can get us off the wild west of AIM and on to FTSE! GLA.

Van Eck and Black Rock will increase for sure once we start heading towards production. If they do what they did on eurasia, it could be quite a stratospheric rise in sp, so who knows, may be Tymers will be right with his 88p prediction by end of June 2024.

Tymers, what is your problem? the sp rose on the 208 buys which was a bit of fun, no one was forced to buy, it was just a bit of cammeraderie if anyone wanted to participate. I'm not sure what your problem is with peeps on this forum? You've stuck your neck out and said 88p. So where's the difference in reality? I asked you when you expect that because I didn't know. You've kindly said by the end of June it seems. Let's see. I'll be delighted if you're right as I have over 2.1 million shares right now. Like many, I'm in the red, as I've averaged down a bit, but at the moment, I'm happy to see where this goes.

Seamus, this is how the power of global economics works. Have a war, cause food shortages etc, out comes the begging bowl, power politics at play by those who see themselves as the dominant nations, the oligarchs buy up the distressed assets in whatever country they can grab them from, make a killing, and invest some of their wealth back in to the countries they've been at war with! Just a merry-go-round of power play politics. How do you think the source I mentioned made their money?! The difference this time around is that we've got the saber rattling of the threat of nuclear action, and two President's of the US and Russia who are both loose canons. Wierdly, I'm not so worried about Putin, because I'm not sure in all honesty he wants to see his own homeland destroyed, as I am about Biden, particularly when you look at the pull out of Afghanistan, he simply didn't care, it was about saving money in the end and not lives, and now his patience is running thin in the same vein with Russia, and he's coming up for election and he'll be keen to prove himself for the backing of his people. He'll be a hero in the eyes of the US if he solves this issue, but at what cost?

The trouble is, there is little trust by many in China also, as the Washington Post article suggests. Russia has backed itself in to a corner.The oligarchs need to get in there and save their country and their people and demand Putin leave. The west might agree to let him leave 'unharmed' as part of a deal if he walks away now, before it's too late. August 24th had been mooted a few weeks ago as an important date for this war.

Summit and pals are continually trying to assassinate my character on lse. Don't worry Summit and the rest in eurasia, it was your investment decision to stay in something that really has little value, if any. The warning signs were there a long time ago. Greatland thankfully has no russian connections to my knowledge! Much safer bet! imo.
