Tymers, I'd logged out so saw your comment, I'm holding 2.6 million shares, it's not a deramp, I'm very pro Greatland, I'm even looking forward to the 88p you predict, on my holding it would be phenomenal, it could even go higher, but the withholding of the MRE doesn't do us any favours obviously, it would help us if it were out there, as I'm sure it increase our value considerably and would see a nice uplift in sp, and jeez, we need that uplift soon! Whoever it was who said 10p by Friday was sadly wrong, but let's hope we can get to 10p in the next few weeks, fingers crossed, even for you Tymers ;)

There are no significant shorts show on short tracker, I checked a few days ago, but just looked again. The usual suspects, JPM's, have shrots from 2022 but seem fairly insignificant. Anyone any clear evidence otherwise?

A little bit more rested and back in the fight with everyone else ;) Sureasblases thank you so much for your kind words, that gave me a good kick up the backside to get back in to this. I hope there's a big meet up one day soon for us all to celebrate and I will owe you a big drink ;) Bandit1, totally agree with what you have written and very eloquently put to boot. I still personally think that Newcrest will have the MRE info to hand and Newmont will have wanted to see it as part of their due dilligence, so why aren't we being updated with it, or are Newcrest refusing to hand it over to Shaun? but then I still don't get it as to why Shaun didn't have one ready, as he must have known what was likely to happen. I can only summise that the line of communication with Newcrest isn't that great, but Shaun's comms with Newmont is as he has already said he has a good relationship with Newmont. Therefore, it would seem that may be Newmont doesn't want the figures releasing may be so that they aren't forced to pay more, if Newcrest's shareholders see the true value and threaten to vote down the acquisition? I therefore find it hard to believe that Newcrest are not without the figures, and therefore, why aren't they being released to Greatland who have a viable interest in the same? I suppose we can go around the houses for ever, and whilst it would have been fantastic for Greatlanders to see the same, as I'm sure they will enhance our value considerably, it appears it's a waiting game, but I agree Bandit, and this is what I was saying yesterday, that we should see an updated MRE before we vote on the ASX listing. If we don't see it prior to voting, then I will not be inclined to vote in favour. Where are Shaun's loyalties going to lie?

Sureasblazes, no, I'm a teetotaller, but I was diagnosed with long covid in February, and it's been hell, yesterday was a good day for a change, but last night I didn't sleep and today has been a hellish one again, and it will probably go on like that for another week or two, and then you get a good day again, and so it goes on. To anyone else who has it I totally sympathize, and that's why sometimes my desperation may seem to come across, because when your health isn't as good as it should be, you begin to think, am I going to see the fruits of this investment or not! Sorry, I don't mean to sound morbid, but it does get to me a bit at times. Have a good weekend all. We must keep our peckers up ;)

I see my handle is being mentioned! I'm not posting as much here or anywhere else as it happens as I've got long covid, diagnosed in February, and it's becoming quite debilitating. If anyone else has it, I have every sympathy, you can have a good day, as I did yesterday, and then I'll have a run of 14 or so bad ones, and all you want to do is just give up. Today has been a really bad one! So thank you to the kind souls who haven't criticized me, it means a lot, and to those who have, which is the majority, thank your lucky stars if you haven't got long covid, because it's hell. Have a good weekend. Life is for living, because you never know when it might be taken away from you, even the simplest things that you normally take for granted.

I'm not going to disguise the act that I'm bitterly disappointed today. I thought SD was much further down the line to produce our own MRE if Newcrest didn't, but it seems he hasn't been bothered to get it ready and to capture the steady increase on the sp that had been taking place all week. The tardiness in delaying it from his end, will undoubtedly mean we will probably drop to a new low in the next few weeks, as there's no spin now that can be contrived that isn't already known about. I will remain invested but do feel it's been a poor show from both Newcrest and Greatland, and I do feel it was price sensitive information that should have been released, as I'm sure there is an updated MRE to hand! imo.

I can't see why it would be withheld because of the acquisition because the state of play regarding that is publicly known, in that Newcrest shareholders will vote on it. So why is it being held back, and should it really be held back, because I don't think it should be? if Newcrest or Newmont don't want their investors to know the content, that isn't fair on Greatland shareholders, and does smack of a breach of the regs to me. imo.

Are we really to assume that Newcrest didn't have the MRE information to hand, and assuming that they do have it, as I can't see how they possibly cannot not have it, as surely Newmont would want to know about it, as they won't want information from 12-24 months ago, then it's price sensitive information and should have been released to the market surely? isn't it a breach of the AIM regs?

I'm pi55ed off that I didn't stick with RR at 90p! Could have doubled the pot by now!

Must admit that I'm beginning to wonder if heels are being dragged so as to pish as many retail investors off as possible so the instis and funders pick up! Black Rock, Vanguard, Jupiter, they always get what they want, always! Aim is such a cesspit, and I don't think Shaun has helped himself today to make friends and influence retail investors. I really hope the aim isn't to squeeze us all out. The spike happens in so many aim shares, and never makes a come back to the dizzy heights of the same, and I hope that won't be the case here, but if you were spiked, I'd be averaging down, the only problem is, peeps have been waiting so long, and that one whiff of a decent rise, and everyone will be trying to leg it anyway imo.

Agreed MH01, this is AIM, too much is withheld a lot of the time when it should be released, despite the regs, and why shouldn't we be made aware, we've put our faith in the company by purchasing shares, and expect them to be honest by keeping us updated with significant events and material information. Aim is shrouded in too much secrecy, a lot of which, is never ever revealed at all to retail investors, which i find pitiful and often deceptive. It's too easy for AIM companies to hide material facts. imo.

Thought it might be interesting to bring this back to the fore! Anyone else joining all the dots? The content makes interesting reading again 3 years on, knowing what is known now!

For Information: "If an AIM company delays disclosure of inside information to the market, it must keep detailed records of its decision to do so, including: the time and date of when the company decided to delay disclosure, the persons responsible for the decision to delay disclosure and the steps that the company took to monitor the conditions permitting the delay. Subsequently, when the inside information is announced, the company must inform the FCA that disclosure was delayed and the FCA may ask for written explanation of the reasons and justifications for delaying disclosure."

Assumedly it counts as delayed as it's not updated!

Interview of 25 Jan 23 with SD, transcribed by GGPChat, and I'm sure I've heard Shaun clarify further in a recent interview that he would provide if Newcrest didn't.

"Newcrest’s annual MRE reporting will be based around August FY reporting in future vs HY in Feb, Shaun’s strong preference currently is to remain aligned to Newcrest but if they feel Newcrest is unnecessarily delaying a resource update, will continue to have the courage, conviction and focus to go unilaterally and publish their own"

It might well finish blue today, as it's currently down on the rest of the week and gives an opportunity to purchase lower, but the likelihood is it will drift down further next week unless there is an rns released that will actually underpin the sp, and that hasn't happened as yet. SD said if Newcrest didn't release the Hav MRE, he would, so where is it? sitting on a desk unopened?

Also, is it right and fair that the likes of Black Rock and co. will no doubt be handed this information and yet we won't? of course it isn't, but it happens, and that's why we must fight our corner to also be given this information, and the only power we have is to consider voting against the asx cross listing if we are not given it imo. It should be disclosed prior, not after. It is a part of the fundamental process.

TT, you cannot withhold material information if it is to hand, it has to be released to market, otherwise the Nomad will be fired, even though the company pay the Nomad! Anything that involves material information must be released to the market at the earliest opportunity. if SD is holding it already, or is about to receive it, he must release it. I am very much of the view that it should certainly be released before we vote on the asx cross listing, it's material and it affects strategic investment decisions. imo.

Kevin, I'm hanging on to the Rio aspect, Rio don't go knocking on doors for nothing. Also, remember SD said he knows Newmont well! Staying positive but do feel we've been given a bit of a kicking, just when the sp was starting to improve as well.
