The expectation to have the MRE to hand is not 'unrealistic' Dip, it's price sensitive information, therefore it should be released prior to a vote which has the potential to 'dilute' existing shareholders and the potential to affect the value of their holdings.

Hip, I'm simply saying that in view we should have the updated MRE before us before any vote, but the way SD keeps speaking and being vague seems to suggest he's not going to do that, he's going to go for the cross listing first and therefore sensitive price information is, for want of a word, being kept from us, as Newcrest already have it, but won't divulge, yet we are in a strategic partnership with them, so why won't they let us see it? What is really going on?

Tig, they can buy the shares already, it's not stopping the likes of BR, Van Eck and Stateside, who is a pension fund provider, from doing so is it? Shaun already has the backing of banks, and Rio is on board, who are obviously keen to drill as quickly as possible, so why the rush to the aus market, and at what cost to the UK shareholders? because I'm certain there will be a cost to us, not least the costs themselves for doing a cross listing!

In which case, Shaun needs to put out there asap the independently verified MRE before any vote takes place, and what is the intention on raising any funds, and how this is expected to be done. I feel very strongly about this, and I think everyone should be pressing for it. It's not good enough to be vague and we don't know whether he intends to release it before or after, he will know the timescales, and at the moment, the indication appears to be that he's intending to cross list before he produces that MRE, and that is wholly the wrong way around in my view, and i hope it would be voted down until we have that vital piece of information. It affects our investments. Is it worth the added costs of the cross listing that will have to be borne by the company and so on. Why does he feel it is absolutely necessary, because as the article argues, and as we all know, anyone can trade on any market place virtually these days.

I'm still a great supporter here and don't get me wrong, but I don't want to see retail investors who have supported this company throughout it's journey thus far get shafted at the expense of pandering to the aus marketplace because GGP would now prefer to have it's home supporters in and the away supporters out. I really do think it's time for Shaun to come clean, there's far too much speculation going on and it's helping no-one, not the share price, not UK investors. He cannot sit there and remain vague, it's not fair to the retail investors who have carried the company this far. I know I will get shot down from some, but you cannot strategically invest or continue to evaluate those investments when a company is failing to provide price sensitive information to shareholders. I understand some of it might be 'confidential', but an updated MRE should not be, nor the plans of what will be involved with the cross listing.

Cp, there are lots of potential issues that might require votes on ordinary resolutions and possible special resolutions. Asx cross listing for instance could involve alloting new shares, in which case, I would expect there to be a vote on the process. However, I would add that I haven't seen the company's articles of association and what, if anything, it states on any prospect of a cross listing.

Whilst this article is old, as I've said previously, I'm not sure that I will vote in favour of a cross listing, and certainly not if that updated and independently verified MRE isn't to hand in advance.

And there we have it, a few hours after I posted last night, exactly what I was arguing about, another piece of 'journalistic' carp produced. I cannot understand how Newcrest shareholders can vote when they don't know the true value of the assets to be sold and without the MRE, the 'true' value isn't known. May be it helps us and a quick deal is done, or may not. However, I sincerely hope we do pick up Telfer and that 70% if offered, and I'm certain Rio will help, but whats the chances we're going to have to pay over the odds? They've got something we want and they can name their price! Obviously aus instis are going to help to fund this, and I'm wondering if this will be done through corporate bonds once the asx listing is confirmed? as I said, Shaun must know the plan by now.

No cp, he mentioned the cross listing, so that would have been a good time to try and seek further clarification from him imo. If he can't say, then let him say he can't say still but who knows, he might have elaborated a bit more, as it must be getting close now, as it's only 2 weeks to September even!

Cloudtag was, of course, also listed on aim, with the super rns copy and paste expert ramping there as here, with monies moved out to offshore territories, the absolute decimation of the sp, and no sale before de-listing. Anyone noticed the trend? You should have done so long ago!

Great short interview today, but would have been good if Shaun could have been pinned down on the spot today to clarify a bit more about whether the cross listing will result in dilution for existing shareholders or not. He must know by now what the plans are and I think it would help to steady the nerves if we all knew or could at least prepare ourselves if it were to be on the cards. This cloak and dagger stuff just runs the risk of more unwelcome 'journalistic' leaks, of the wrong type, that we don't need.

How on earth can you class me as a deramper when I'm holding over 2.6 mill shares now? plus, I'd forgotten, until HL sent me a print out on something to do with another share, and there in black and white was Greatland shares I'd purchased back in 2021 at 13.95p! so I've been holding awhile, and not a newcomer to the share as some who try to rule the roost here seen to suggest. I'm all for your 88p prediction Tymers, I sincerely hope it comes to fruition, as I think we would all be very very happy. I certainly would!

As I have said, the only share I am currently overweighted on is GGP. Funny that when I think HL are possibly BR's brokers isn't it! Why now? why when overweighted only with GGP? Don't recall ever having been sent the same on nay other share in the past that I've been overweighted in!

There's always ways around funding, may be the Australian Government will come in with a slice. Rio know how to attract funding in JVs! You only have to mention the name RTZ and I'm sure it opens the bank vaults!
