Those who continally bang on about a sale and about other companies having sold out in Russia, are complete fruit loops. Again, REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT, the metals are underground THEREFORE THEY BELONG TO THE RUSSIAN STATE UNTIL THEY ARE EXCAVATED, then legal ownership changes hands to those who have the relevant mining licences for the mine in question. Until they are dug out, THEY BELONG TO THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT! Hells bells, who on earth is going to buy metals from Eurasia when they don't actually have ownership of them whilst unexcavated? All they have ownership of is the land (top soil), which is worthless! Get real.

There is a simple answer to that seamus as you well know, none of them were selling metals that are still under the ground in russian soil and belong to the Russian State! So no, it's not the same scenario at all, and that's why there's no sale to anyone outside of russia, nor any takers inside russia by the looks of things either!

Out of interest, has anyone experience of investing through one of these by any chance? just wondered if it's a beneficial experience? not asking for financial advice by the way, just what peeps personal experiences there are. It's just that they appear to offer the following incentives;

Thanks MH01. Speedy if you know a legitimate/legal way around some of the stamp duty, prey, do tell, I'm all ears. Stamp duty now, and flipping IHT later. Time they abolished IHT, it's a tax robber on the deceased effectively. Anyone see that article today on those fleeing to Dubai to try and escape taxes here, no such luck, even if you have family here and no property, they are still entitled to take CGT/IHT taxes from you here!

They can't even conduct a placing, the sp is too low. The legal costs on the High Court case must be huge, let alone how much they have probably paid in compensation and legal costs to settle the other High Court case with Logik!

It's true seamus they don't OWN the unexcavated minerals in the ground, the Russian State do! Only when they are excavated due the licence holders of the mining licences then own the minerals they have excavated! They've hardly excavated anything so far in 20+ years!
