Plode, we need to wait and see what the suggested terms are for the asx listing. If it's going to dilute shareholders substantially, I think Shaun will already realise, no one will vote for it. He already has 3 or 4 banks who are willing to loan, there is Rio who I'm sure will help out to a certain degree, so he will be fully aware that he needs to tread carefully on the dilution front, should that be in the offing. Until we see the details, no one knows at this juncture so pointless suggesting dilution will occur. I do agree that the MRE is very important and ideally that should be to hand before any vote, and no doubt if that is to hand first, it will aid an upwards trajectory on the sp hopefully, in advance of any vote. imo.

Barna, we did have this argument the other day on here, I said it should come out before the listing vote and got shot down! but I agree, it should come out first imo.

Hi LaurieD, this is the irony, when I was top heavy with 2.7 mill shares on eurasia, I don't recall them sending me anything, but when the sp shot up, I got reams of letters touting their best funds etc! That's why I'm surprised I've had it here, because I've not had it before despite being top heavy in the past in other shares. As I say, I'm sure they are the brokers for BR! :)

Out of interest, did anyone else get the email from HL last night headed "Your HL portfolio could be too risky"? Assumedly this is because I'm carrying quite a few GGP shares, but I've never had this before, even when I've carried a higher ratio of certain shares in my portfolio compared to others. I'm wondering if this is a tactic to see if I divest a few? I'm sure they are the brokers for BR!

Yep you did, I'm making a stand. I'm sick to death of posters attacking other posts on these forums. Attacking Jiffy was one step too far on this forum, and then to refer to London black cabbies in such a derogatory manner was another. So I will make my stand. Rio is listed on the aus exchange anyway, so may be it will hasten a buy out! End of.

Wow, how condescending and patronising are you Spade, people don't always remember everything, there might be a reason medically also why they don't recall easily, but regardless, to shoot a fellow investor down in flames like that is way beyond the pale. Saint, I called out the red flags on eurasia long ago and ever since I started to do so have taken a monumental amount of abuse but I started calling it out at around 24p and look where it is now, just over 2p! You keep bashing your list of what you hope will happen but probably never will. The problem is you've got yourself locked in too high no doubt and can't now escape without a very heavy loss. That isn't my fault. Even I misjudged my exit, but at least I was all bar 80 shares out between 16p and 12p! I've put up with being called transgender, when I'm female, and it's well known I'm female, fuzzy haired, when actually I'm not, and all sort of other derogatory comments. I'm usually quite good at making a call either way positive or negative, so please refrain from trying to diss me and turn other share chat forum members against me, it's not fair nor in the spirit of the same, I have a right to post along with everyone else, whichever side of the fence I am sitting. Same applies to you sureasblases, it's not your forum, nor is it mine, and I don't post relentlessly every day, some days I don't post at all. I'm excited for Greatland, I currently think it's a great opporunity for investors and I've slowly averaged down, still in the red mind! But today has felt positive, not least because I got up, felt a higher frequency vibration (if you don't understand, don't bother), did a 208 trade, and then received a call from my estate agent, that within 2 weeks of my house being on the market, a chinese buyer has made an offer on it, and after a bit of negotiation throughout the day, it's sold! So just goes to show, don't believe everything the media are putting out there about the housing market right now, there's still buyers around. Anyhow, it will keep me busy now packing up 12 years of artefacts and deciding where I go to next! GLA.

So who is Shaun going to turn us in to a multi billion dollar asset with? Newmont or Rio? My money is on Rio all the way. Rio will manoeuvre in due course, not today, not tomorrow, but not before too long, and I'm betting that Shaun will get a seat on the Rio Board. What a coup that would be. Let's see.

As I said last week, follow the money! DYOR of course. The months of manipulation on the sp has to be for a reason. Be interesting to watch once the brakes are taken off!
