The US are running out of patience, and those drone attacks on the silos was the straw that finally began to break the camels back fo rthe US. If Putin goes anywhere near that nuclear plant in Ukraine, the US will retaliate, they want an end to this conflict, it's costing too much money and it's clear their patience is now running very very thin and I wouldn't put it past Biden going rogue. Not really a good time for Sunak to go away when this conflict is becoming more worrying. Whilst many are starving, having to resort to foodbanks, seeing the cost of their mortgages rising, and living under the cloud of this awful conflict of war, and countless innocent people are dying in Ukraine, he swans off on holiday and thinks its okay!

As I said early on in this conflict, the oligarchs need to get Putin out, as I see it, they are our only hope for a peaceful end to the conflict. Abramovich clearly has some power, I hope to God he is still trying to be proactive in sorting this unholy mess out and has stepped up his campaign. The UK will welcome Abramovich back if he assists with a peaceful end to the conflict for Ukraine, and he knows this.

In other words, if Putin attempts any form of nuclear attack on Ukraine, the US will retaliate without a doubt and send nuclear missiles to Russia. There will be nothing left! The threat is real, and it's ugly, and it doesn't bear thinking about, but the threat level moved up when the risk of Putin possibly targeting the nuclear plant in Ukraine became known. All we can do is pray that this will not happen.

Seamus, the mining licences can be withdrawn by Putin at the click of a finger! The company don't own the unexcavated minerals as they belong to the State and the licences are subject to the State being able to withdraw them at any time. So what do the company own asset wise? very little or in other words not a lot! The latest US warning on saber rattling to Putin is worrying! The US warned yesterday that a nuclear attack on Ukraine would be seen as an attack on NATO.

Obviously the production of the MRE could be a very interesting one and a major turning point. The mineral resource estimate has the potential to result in a large increase of contained oz's of gold and this is AIM, so it could easily rocket on that news if good, and definitely if outstanding. Again, as it's AIM, it could potentially easily surpass the 50p just on that news alone, stranger things have happened many a time on AIM. Whatever, I'd definitely say it's better to be than out! Don't know if anyone else has any thoughts, may be based on past experiences with AIM?

It's a waiting game, wait for results from the Rio JV, I firmly believe that if Rio are happy, they will buy out the reminder of Greatland's interest in the JV, and might even make an offer for the whole company which will then create an issue for Newmont or alternatively enter in to another JV with us at a later stage! I think Shaun already knows that there are possible moves afoot with Rio, remember they came to us, not we went begging to them, so I think something big is cooking in the pan, but it will take time, and only those who stay the course will ultimately benefit. imo. Anyone any similar thoughts?

You can't always get health back either. The whole world is fcuk'd at the moment, and then with Europe becoming an inferno, and yet we've had probably one of the worst summers ever in the last few decades. Trying to sell my house at the moment, I've had to knock 100k off the asking price since it was valued last October, what with that, and the diabolical state of the markets, it feels pretty grim, but at least most of us are fortunate enough to have a roof over our heads, are not in a war zone, and can find food to feed ourselves still for now. Let's hope for peace, we all came together, the world united, to see us through the worst of covid, and then this happened! So sad :(
