Culpepper, I take your point based on 'old info' and new info might be much more revealing, but are the banks going to take such a huge risk so as to loan little old Greatland upwards of 700 million dollars? There has to be more to it, surely? Anyhow, hopefully we will know before too long, but its that sort of uncertainty that the markets will absolutely play on here for now.

I see where you're coming from MH01 regarding liabilities, but I still don't think that will justify it. Newmont will want to show to its shareholders, having just forked out 21bn plus for Newcrest from recollection, that it can get a very good price for that 70% imo.

Firstmodern, telfer is 'worthless', it's not going to help us find circa 700 million dollars I don't think if something around that figure is what we will need. I know Newmont will probably be pleased to get shot of Telfer, but for a 700 million discount?

That's 10 years old nearly MH01, I think things will have gone up in value considerably since then, don't you!

What's peeps views on the financing of Tel/Hav if we are offered Newmont's 70%? Currently, we have the offer from the 3 banks of a supply line of 220 million dollars. We also have 80 million available if I recollect correctly from Wyloo, thus bringing us to around 300 mill available in credit. If 5% was assessed at 85 million dollars, when it was discussed with Newcrest, then if we want to acquire the 70% at say roughly the same price as the 5% x 14, then that means we need around 1.19 bn dollars. Knock off a bit for good will etc, so say 1 billion dollars total, how are we going to finance it? we will be short of some 700 million dollars possibly, so this is probably why the market seems to be treating us with such disdain because where is the money going to come from, and the market will have an idea of what is going to happen before we will? or will Rio come in with us? What am I missing on costings? I know Shaun has said the Hav Feasability Study is not likely to be released until a decision has been taken on that credit line with the 3 banks.

The vote as I understand it is on 13 October in Perth time, so assumedly the result will be known whilst we are trading on the same date. Anyone think Shaun will put out an rns next Friday late on? If he has already been in talks with Newmont, then whats to stop him providing a little extra info next Friday late on?

So what about the gettested.com psa test? there's so many on the market. This will just go down the pan a bit like the old nova, as it takes a hell of a lot of money to manufacture, package, and also pass meticulous safety standards in the process. Nice rise today, but as I said earlier, with the small amount of shares in circulation, don't get trapped, especially by the rentamob rampathoners!

Officecat you are making yourself look silly, the share you mention has gone from a huge rampathon of nothing to 43p, and then descended down to 2.65p! This is why people need to be careful with you and DR around. No doubt you'll have this post removed, as you have my others!

By the way DmitryReacts I changed some numbers, as I've copied this from my HL account, but the trades show what price I bought in at and what price I sold at okay.

As I said, there aren't that many shares in circulation, so some will get trapped trying to exit whilst the rampathoners will push you to stay in. It took me ten mins to sell as it was in auction to sell. I have no reason to lie about it. I've been upfront, unlike some I could name here. Best of luck.

Made a quick little 10% on this this morning, but it was difficult to exit, took nearly ten mins on requote, and that's the problem in a share where there are so little shares in circulation, people will get trapped. It's done it's rise and looks pretty stagnant before the traders start exiting from 2.30pm onwards. If you don't want to be stuck/trapped, don't leave it too late. So few shares means a market can't really be created, so no fast sales and buys. There's a character on here ramping this to death everywhere, be warned! my views of course, but speaking with experience on buying and exiting today which I don't normally do, but chanced it.

MH01 - grow up son! If you want to continue throwing your daggers at me, which you started again yesterday, feel free, but I'm not responding, as I'm not clogging the board up responding to your continued attacks. End of.

MH01 you're just trying to make yourself appear knowledgeable off the back of other peoples research and opinions. You're a bit late with the Northern Star story and with the rest of your spiel. I only posted last night because the share talk article is relatively new, within the last few days, and appears to have first hand knowledge that Shaun will definitely be buying the 70% from Newmont if offered for Tel and Hav. Those that went to the town hall seem to report that Shaun didn't indicate a continuation of the JV with Newmont as being a viable option, more like a last resort. End of.

Jiffy, if you're looking in, good spot to mention about continuation of contracts etc buddy. That's a very important point.

Barna, don't forget Shaun has made it quite clear on a number of occasions that he is on good terms with Newmont! Let's see how good terms that is exactly! :)

I think it will move at pace once Newmont announce their intentions, and I assume we will have to vote on the intended purchase of that 70% as it's an acquisition, so won't happen overnight obviously, but once out in the open, I would hope the share price would start to ascend!
