I prefer whoever it was who wrote we aint selling for anything less than 3 billion being 50p per share. Now that sounds reasonable to me but it might be chicken feed when the MRE comes out and we could be getting closer to Tymers target! Fingers crossed that if Newmont do want the lot, they get their hands in their pockets and flash the cash! :)

They've been trying to sell assets since early 2015, yet they haven't sold a bean, they have no revenue and no profit. Just fund raise after fund raise, until the chances of even doing that are now very slim. Better to wait the outcome of the High Court case against the company and then see where the land lies. Until then, why not give yourselves all a break from here! There's a war in situ, no one knows how it will play out, we all sit here in the West thinking it's not in our backyard so it doesn't concern us, but with a war like this, you can only take each day as it comes, so if you've got families, spend time with them, they are far mroe important.

What are you posting about tax incentives for when the metals in unexcavated form are still in the ownership of the Rusian State? it's ludicrous!

On a lighter note, the markets have got the jitters! greatland was heading close to 7p end of last week, markets have got the jitters this week, they hate uncertainty, dropped it today to 6.15p on close, the same will happen here, markets are begining to play the uncertainty game with any aim share that suits!

They are nationalised covgaz, they remain nationalised, as the minerals in unexcavated state still belong to the State! mining licences will probably be withdrawn soon!

It's got naff all to do with share options or the like being sold, it's down purely to uncertainty, the market does not like uncertainty and the markets thought Day would come here and give a bit of hint as to the way forward, but he didn't, and so the market remains unconvinced as to which way this will play out, like we all do, if we're honest, none of us have a clue, but right now, assuming the vote goes through, then Palmer is in charge, like it or not!

Will now await the vote, 11 trading days to go. After that, let's see what strategy evolves. In the meantime, the sp is in freefall, and it's annoying to say the least, but it is what it is, thanks to Newmont and Newcrest!!!

Speedy you are making yourself look silly. No one knows yet what is going to happen with Tel/Hav. The indications are that Palmer will divest. If we want it, I dare say we will have to pay a hefty price, too hefty a price so Shaun may well let the idea go and concentrate on the JV with Rio which hopefully can be hurried along with their expertise helping us. There's no guarantee we will hang on to Tel/Hav. The opportunity missed was that Newcrest should have let us buy their 70% before they signalled a deal with Newmont, or at the very least, let us take a big enough % so as to let us have the control of it. That, to my mind, is where the mistake occurred, and for that, you can only blame our Board for not attempting to secure that when Newmont first approached Newcrest. 5% wasn't enough, we needed at least 21%! Now we are stuck where we are. And don't be blinded folks by aerial views from certain telegrammers, they did the same thing on eurasia, and look what happened there. Nothing will happen here now until after the vote obviously. my views.

Also spade note the words "aspiring developer and producer" key word being aspiring, not that we are, actually a producer as yet!

Spade it might relate to the Rio JV where our % is bigger, but I don't think this refers to Tel/Hav, Palmer has made his position clear from several accounts that I have seen on the internet, he intends to divest non core assets, so that leaves us in a mess, and there's no guarantee that we will acquire any of that 70% either, and if we do, it will come at a hefty price. I'm almost certain Shaun is going to let it go and concentrate on the Rio JV if he can't get Hav/Tel for the right price from Palmer. But all that will take time with the Rio JV. I do believe it wil be the making of Greatland and much much bigger in the end than say Tel/Hav, but it will take more time obviously, and the market is not buying the current situation clearly. I'm saying this from a position of being well down, which I don't like, but I call things as i see them, and I don't hoodwink like some on here who will be from the TG with their own motives within the Group. I called out eurasia from 26p and I was right, it's now less than 3p, and at the moment, I'm seeing a repeat here, with the TG's with their millions of shares now risking being under water no doubt and so they will start pumping.

Nothing to see here until the vote is done and dusted and Shaun can speak freely.

Tymers, give over, you know as well as anyone that this is out of our hands, it's down to Newmont, and whilst the uncertainty remains, the market will play with the share price, that's a given. The market also knows that Greatland is a minority stakeholder in this transaction.

Don't blame me TomE and the rest who like to have a go, blame Tom Palmer of Newmont, he's caused this situation and the whole scenario is out of our control. We are a JV partner with Newcrest yet we have absolutely no control, and therein lies the problem. So if Palmer divests, then what? we either have to fiddle to his tune as to what he wants for the 70% or we risk him selling the 70% to another miner, who we may or may not get on with, and the transfer of power goes to them, or he takes our stake for very little no doubt, and sells the whole lot for Newmont to another miner, probably for far more than what he will be willing to give us. We're powerless when it comes to Newmont and unless Day is prepared to possibly pay a very extorionate price for the 70% on first dibs, then we're stuck with whatever happens, providing, of course, that the vote goes through? If he doesn't divest, then it's a different scenario alltogether, but the press have given the impression that Palmer has said that he intends to divest non core assets. That's not my problem, so no need to blame me, plus I'm holding 2.4 mill shares, which isn't as much as some, granted, but I've probably bought in higher than a lot here, as I first bought at 13.5p and have averaged down, mainly at around 8p, so I'm way down at the moment, well in the red, but not in as much of the red as some folks here. The ones who are saying ignore people are those who bought in very low, are sitting on millions of shares, and at the moment, see blue still, the rest of us don't!

Not panicking summit, far from it, topped up this morning, but it's the fact that Newmont have brought this upon us and there's b+gger all we can do about it. If only we'd had a bigger share in that JV, and a bit more control! My perspective is that the market sees us as the weak partner obviously, and that we won't have much say in anything Newmont decides obviously! And so the wait goes on ..................

Can't believe we had swung back up to high 6's just days before Shaun's visit, and now we're down to this after it. We need some decent PR guff out there somehow!
