Heard back from yesterday's fiasco, after making a complaint to M&S about Ocado. Reply from M&S says; "Thanks for bringing the matter to our attention. Hopefully, now that we've raised the issue, improvements will be made. Sorry for any disappointment caused and I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead."

Ocado binned, lacking basic management and people skills.

Some are paid to troll by the brokers. If the broker has an order they are trying to fill at a certain price, they send their interns in to troll. Its easy peasy for them with AIM stock as no one is ever going to successfully challenge the practice and so many are multi monikered anyway, it's a pointless exercise. imo.

And looks as though others are too.

I sold out because I knew there would be many who would sell on news, as the old adage goes! There's nothing sinister to it, and I would have bought back in at some point, and not have said anything, but today's fiasco with my order has turned me away from Ocado, that's totally bad management, and no effort to try and maintain goodwill. Appalling.

Looks like I'm not alone having just looked on the web.

King5hott, I'm livid. You don't do that to someone with 20 minutes to go to their delivery time. Why didn't that delivery person just deliver? I suspect there's something going on in the background with unhappy staff. I live in the south, the nearest M&S is 10 mins away by car, except I don't have one. They could have offered to put my groceries from that M&S store in to an Uber and just literally sent them down the road, but they offered absolutely nothing, and that's appalling, and you don't get a come back from that, they offered nothing for their appalling service and I've asked them to delete my account. How many customers are they losing like this?

Good afternoon oldsharedog, I'm so so sorry to hear of your plight and I wish you the very best with your treatment. I haven't got cancer thankfully to my knowledge, mine is heart issues, which were apparently diagnosed in 2018 after being in Resus for a few hours, but my GP missed it, and now blames the hospital saying the systems were changing and it wasn't flagged up to him properly, although he admits he missed it! But since I indicated I would be taking matters further, all sorts of shenanigans have been going on with my medical notes and records, not helped by the fact that the GP brought a relative in to deal with my medical notes and records, so need I say any more? also, his brother in law is a KC, so he would have immediately got advice as to how to cover his tracks imo! I'm down in the south, although a northerner at heart, and nearly went to Manchester Metropolitan a few years ago to do a Masters in my dotage, but when visiting, I was a bit shocked at what I saw as the decline of Manchester, beggars at the station, pickpockets etc, and I didn't feel safe, so declined the offer the Uni made to me. However, being in the south, access to medical treatment can be useful here, and there is something called the Cyberknife, I don't know if you have heard of it, but I've recommended it to a few friends, as one has bladder cancer. If you haven't, it might be worth making some enquiries, although I know the Christie has an excellent reputation and I once met a cancer specialist from the Christie on holiday, and he was such a genuinely nice guy. Have a look at Cyberknife on the web and might it be worth making some enquiries? Let's hope this comes in with a handsome sale of the tech by Bixby and we can all celebrate together my friend :)

And if they are doing that to me sheltie, how many others are they doing it to? and how many customers are they losing as a result, week in-week out?

And what's worse sheltie is that my entire order was M&S products, as I like M&S stuff, and it saves me going out and carrying it, as I don't have transport, so M&S have lost out, and I can't imagine M&S will like that, and when I go in to my local M&S food store tomorrow, as I'm going to make the trip, after 6 weeks of that flu bug, I'm going to let them know that they should ditch Ocado.
