First - You're a fool if you invested your life savings in one company, especially one on AIM. Get yourself a financial advisor (oops, too late). No one to blame but yourself. DYOR. Secondly, companies try to do stuff and sometimes it dont work. The market moves on. Deal don't work out. Government policy changes. It doesn't mean they're lying to you. It means you weren't able to assess the risks, or you didn't care because you got pumped and dumped by all your mates. Basically, you got rolled in the AIM boiler room.

Testingthewater - would be illegal. Companies have to release price sensitive information as soon as they get it. They cant withhold knowledge about approval to then ramp a price for a placing. Think whatever you want, but there are lawyers and advisors behind all this that CAN go to jail and aren't going to take that risk to support a little AIM company.

Yes. They can discount the shares as much as they want. Ultimately shareholders have to approve the placement, but if you don’t, all your cash will be gone if the company has no funding.

Discounts can be more than 50%. The more desperate the need for cash, the more institutional investors will demand. The crime now is the share price is artificial and fake, because whatever price is , they’ve already told you they will sell millions of new shares for a lower price. Maybe less than half what it is now. They would have just said “ohwell, that’s what we need to do” and the prevailing wisdom is that if investors don’t support a raise, everyone looses all their money, so ultimately it will get supported just by offering more discount.

They were 8p a share pre covid and there was no takeover interest in them then. Nothing changed except they burned covid investor cash to keep the heating on.

I've only posted here on AVCT a few times before but I said at those times that the Affimer technology would never work. Its not sensitive in the first place, and it isn't an amplification technology like PCR. There's probably a lot of grey areas that the company has chosen not to let us know about. But they raised £40M off the back of it and continue to burn cash like firewood. I've never bought AVCT, so no skin in the game anyway

Its report points out that trolls deliberately seek out engagement as a way of boosting their own profiles. And it works. No you can’t. Lying derampers (like Philjpo!). That’s why you should ignore anyone obviously deramping an AIM stock - they’re just trying to get in on the cheap. If you truly were a holder, what the point if trashing a stock you own? If you’re a holder and you don’t believe in it’s prospects, you’d sell, wouldn’t you? Unless your Philjpo. You think you have some sort of company insight ( even though evidence suggest you clearly don’t), can weather the storm for 5 years and you’re onto the next Amazon.

A Board isn’t involved with sales. Boards are about strategy and corporate governance. Secondly, they only just CE marked and the research they do to get that gives the product it’s performance specifications.. No customer or distributor is even going to look at a product before they know the specifications, and even then they’ll want product to evaluate because no one believes the performance number that companies attach to these covid products, LFTs said the were 98% this and 100% that, but we all know they’re actually quite poor. The idea that sales begin the day after CE marking is fantasy.

Covid to hit the NHS for the next 5 years and testing needed for the next 10.
