So much uninformed stuff gets posted on this board. I wonder whether people don’t genuinely understand this industry , or whether it’s all misdirection and deliberate to cause confusion. It’s more make up your own research than dyor.

What crudetrader says is wrong, and I see no truth in the comment that he called NICE. Why can’t Al get though but crude can?

You can’t have a consultation on your conclusions unless people know what your conclusions are. That’s why it’s published tomorrow as consult begins. Yes, they won’t be final, but the decision will be there. NICE public consultations can be relevant when NICE denies funding for some new very expensive drug that doesn’t work very well, and the parents patients and families affected can protest at the decision. Who’s going to argue against saving a baby’s hearing?

People might think that the NICE decision isn’t for weeks following the consultation , but it’s really tomorrow - it will be an initial decision that public consultation isn’t going to alter.

tomorrow is RNS day as NICE states on their website that’s the timing for consultation process, so they must release all their conclusions publicly tomorrow so we know what to consult about. nissangtr786, Budd lined up two of the largest diagnostic companies in the world - they’re the ones that didn’t get commercial traction. Was it timing? Was it lack of chain of command in big pharma to their reps? Who knows. But had it flown, everyone would have thought him a star. 30% of us wanted him gone 4 weeks ago and now stock had run over 200% and people are booking their hols. There’s little perspective on this board. It’s a big world, gdr is a small co, they need some luck with market timing.

There’s no presentation at AGM. They just count votes on the company resolutions. I guess they could present if they wanted to, but they just did one recently. Most companies don’t do a presentation for AGM. They were more common back when online presenting wasn’t possible and information was only distributed in printed annual reports.

Probably wanted the shares in ISA or SIPP.

It says the retail broker option is not part of the placing, so doesn’t matter what the take up is,

It’s the broker that gets the investor group together, not the CEO. Problem is the institutional Investors know they run the show, they’re the brokers mates, and they won’t cough up the money unless they get a massive discount. The broker won’t go to PIs unless he’s really confident he’ll raise the total amount the company needs. If they don’t raise it all, the deal falls flat. So unless the company is on a massive upswing, the discount is baked into the equation. So the only thing the company can do is not take the Institutional money, preserve the share price, and go to PIs asking for millions. Chance of success?

Pharmaceutical sales are not like consumer sales - it takes a lot of effort to get doctors to change, the inability of the nhs to modernise is ample evidence of this,
