maybe instead of just making a comment without what appears to be even a tiny bit of knowledge on your part, consider there are lots of heath interventions that offer better care but aren't done because they are too expensive. That's why every mother isn't tested, and testing is focussed on the venerable. That what you weren't tested with a PCR for covid every day but were given flip the coin ****ty lateral flow tests.

The mutation is inherited from the babies mother, so if you’re going to test every baby you might as well test every mother, and that could be done anytime, months before giving birth. Don’t need a rapid bedside test for that.
