I asked them why it keeps happening. From the response, chat is being switched off because their setup can’t handle the data volumes and price info is (rightly) deemed more important than our chat. Apparently premium chat is off too and they are working on a solution.

You have to agree, it just illustrates how useful the facility is; I’ve been struggling with advanced all day.

I noticed this morning that I still hold MWG shares and of course I can't sell them. Realise I might just need to be patient but also spotted GB's Tweet about transfer of MWG shares to DVRG.

He responded to my 'panic' Tweet within minutes with an email address to write to.

Isn't that really impressive? Makes me want to buy some more!

Please be advised we are still awaiting the new shares to be credited from the UK Clearing system CREST. Once these have been received we will be distributing them to our customers. Rest assured we are well aware of this merger and are chasing the new shares.

Always good idea to watch what major shareholders and directors do with their shares when SP rises fast. In this case that probably means BRH too.

Ref L&G no TR1 (sensetalka) they were below 3% some weeks ago. Would they still have to declare any transactions after that?

I wish I knew more about this but grateful for the insights from this board. Looking at Directors' share dealings this year adds to the picture somewhat, but not a lot.

trading4good I agree, although the Spanish term for it translates as 'State of Emergency', it is not a lockdown, hence my question. I doubt that any European country will reintroduce a full lockdown again, using instead strict social measures and curfews. It's interesting to note that in the Valenciana region of Spain at least, there is fairly widespread compliance with the social and mask-wearing rules.

El Pais just reported: "Unlike in March, when the state of alarm was used to subject Spaniards to one of the world’s strictest coronavirus lockdowns, this time it will be used in a much less severe manner, in particular to introduce the curfew."

Fear not, although the Spanish government is now imposing new rules on its regions, Spain is not undergoing a lockdown nor in all likelihood will it. El Pais just reported (translated into English) 'El Pais:

It seems there are no countries prepared to reintroduce a full lockdown and the way forward for some months now will almost certainly be regional and sometimes national restrictions. Fauci seems to confirm that testing is the way forward for at least 2021, while vaccines and therapeutic drugs are introduced.

In Novacyt terms, this must mean the need for accurate testing is going to grow and be with us for at least the medium term. Of course there will be other tests, but Novacyt was first to the table in a global sense. Quite amazing.

AJ Bell also allows you to go back in and change the numbers at the moment. The excess is 'suggested' on a one excess per share owned, but you can of course apply for any number from 1 upwards.

The temptation is to forget that the shares might even be less than 175p on the open market by 27/28. Hope not!
