isnt the monetary sanctions likely to be FRR having to pay Hopes costs for this part of the proccess? or is that covered somewhere else. I presume it's a given that if you lose you pay the othersides costs?

I confirm that David Griffin and Andrew Morrison of FTI Consulting (Cayman) Ltd. were appointed as Joint Voluntary Liquidators (“JVLs”) of Frontera Resources Caucasus Corporation (“FRCC”) only.

According to FRCC’s books and records, you are not detailed as a shareholder of FRCC. The JVLs understand that the ultimate parent company of FRCC, being Frontera Resources Corporation (“FRC”), is a publicly listed company and the JVLs therefore expect that you may be a shareholder of that entity instead.

The JVLs have no control or authority in relation to FRC and are therefore unable to deal with queries in relation to that entity. The JVLs suggest that you liaise with your usual representative of FRC.

Isn't this case all about Hopes fiduciary duties and how he has broken them.

I dont think the injunction was that important it seems to be a side issue, the California court wasnt likely to overturn a Cayman decision.

The main court case is still to come and with that comes a very large payout in the event of a win.
could be wrong though maybe it's all over, but it doesnt seem to be from what tsbs was also told by the liquidator yesterday.

The company still goes for fiduciary duties claim against hope for $56million so it is nowhere near the end if they don't get the injunction.

Both sides have got to wiegh up the cost of failure, which the FRR lawyers must have done already before taking on the case. I guess hopes dont have a choice as long as they know they will be paid.
