As a regular, well researched poster on ADVFN posted today,

"I believe the client of JPM who is behind the bulk of the shorting will play their hand in the coming days or weeks. All the shorting can achieve is to suppress the SP. I very much doubt if they can drive it any lower as it seems to have great support at 7.3 to 7.4 level. Yes! If nothing else, it clearly is undervalued, by 'miles'!

What's more, anyone with any sense, would be topping up at these levels, and, yes, I did some more yesterday @ 7.68p.

We need to break out of these ridiculous lows, but permanently!

It's all very well with the rises in the sp, but, then, pretty much invariably, over some time now, they've been followed by the moves south again! Quite frankly, whatever anyone else says, this is largely manipulation, IMHO!

Maybe, just maybe, we're now seeing a bottom, and, quite frankly, anyone that knows what we have, would know, categorically, that we should be 'miles' ahead of where we are now!

The Havieron FS is ongoing and will extend beyond the December 2022 quarter to allow further time to maximise value and de-risk the project.

Permits required to commence the development of an operating underground mine and associated infrastructure are ongoing.

A drilling program is underway which continues to identify and expand high grade extensions to the mineralisation in the Eastern Breccia, South East Crescent Zone and Northern Breccia.

Results to date support potential for both high-grade selective and bulk mining methods, which are currently being evaluated.

Newcrest continues to work on the Commonwealth and State level approvals for the full project, which may consist of a Sub-Level Open Stoping (“SLOS”) underground mine, permanent infrastructure corridor, associated infrastructure and changes at Telfer.

Telfer is strategically well positioned in the highly prospective Paterson Province, with its existing infrastructure and processing capacity providing benefits to the nearby Havieron Project ...

Works to progress the necessary approvals and permits that are required to commence the development of an operating underground mine and associated infrastructure at the Havieron Project are ongoing.

Hi sureasblazes. It's possible. If they take up the option to purchase Firetower and Warrentinna before the 30th June next year, they then also have the option to satisfy the option fee, initial purchase price and deferred consideration in ***** Gold shares and/or pay 'cash'.
