Business is business. As I've stated before, If it suits us (and indeed, we clearly hold the ace cards with Telfer now!), and our new 'hub & spoke' strategy, then I'd expect some form of an agreement with Antipa. If not, we won't. We have what is probably the best BOD, and top execs. in the industry now, and there's no doubt that they're looking very closely at this. My personal view has been, for some time, that we will, and within a few months.

I posted some time back that I still expect an agreement of some form with Antipa within 6 months. It's clearly not something, in mining terms, that you can leave to the last minute, and, IMHO, talks are no doubt in place already. I'm probably even out on the timeframe, and expect something earlier. DYOR & GLA

SD knows a lot of good people in the industry, and especially, of course, current and ex-Northern Star. What's comforting is that they're happy to move and see this as a big opportunity.

I tend to agree. It's been looking like an order is being covered over the past few days.

Being offered 7.55p to sell 1m, so looks like it should be moving up again soon.

Greatland Gold plc (AIM:GGP) has announced the commencement of commercial gold production at the Telfer gold copper mine, with the first gold bars poured on December 8, 2024, marking the initial production under Greatland's ownership. The company completed the acquisition of Telfer and the adjacent Havieron project from Newmont Corporation on December 4, 2024.

The Telfer mine, located in Western Australia, has resumed operations using both of its processing trains with a nominal capacity of 10 million tonnes per annum each. IMHO, I'm now wondering, with the recent BOD changes, and lack of any news, if, just maybe, we're in some form of discussions with another party, especially with all of the recent M&A activity in the Paterson region.

Just a thought, but, as usual, only time will tell.
