IMHO, it was clearly obvious, to anyone who's bothered to do even the smallest research into the company, and has some knowledge of gold/copper mining, that a placing was required. That, at the very least, to fund the next stages of Juno exploration alone, which, including the required data modelling, negotiation of drilling permits, drill site preparations & proposed diamond drilling (4 X 600M), would require around £400-500,000.

OK, that said, I'm also not especially impressed by the company CEO at this time, and the way that he's acted, but I do have a lot of trust in Callum Baxter, and I'm impressed by how fast the Juno project has advanced.

If people don't accept that this is a very high risk investment, on AIM as well, then they probably shouldn't be here, but, it has legs IMHO, and an early, positive strike at Juno, would be transformational for the sp, especially with, still, a limited free float.

I must admit, I recently remembered, as I'm sure others do, that, and I know people have mixed views on the man, Gervaise heddle used to say that, "The markets just don't get it".

BTW, just for those that don't know, you can currently hold ASX shares in a UK ISA, since the ASX is recognised by HMRC. That could of course change, but it's current.

My best guess would be that a Top Hat/Holding company would be established in Australia (which would have to be agreed by shareholders - most of which would be Australian institutions by then anyway) and AIM shareholders would be able to transfer shares at X conversion rate, or sell of course.

To be quite honest SC, absolutely nothing surprises me any more with the 'wild-west' AIM, and, as I've said for years now, the sooner we list on to the ASX the better, and indeed, I'd personally like us to dump the AIM completely, which I believe will happen within 2-3 years anyway. IMHO, that's the plan for Shaun Day too.

Jupiter sold 60,873,127 shares back in Q1 2024, and it was mentioned on here. The fact remains though that the institutional holdings in Greatland have increased substantially since the sale of Telfer/Havieron, with barely any institutional sales of note.

Another fund management company that has recently increased it's holding, Konwave AG is now another one of the largest GGP fund holders now...

I appreciate people have varying views on this, for different reasons, but, as I've said for some time now, I agree.

The holding appears to be in their 'WS Amati Strategic Metals Fund', and Greatland Gold is showing as being 5% of that fund, which is the 4th largest holding in the portfolio...

Another new fund management company I've spotted, Amati Global Investors, have a current holding of 24,499,238 GGP shares (which was recently increased by 8,050,000 shares).

Aussie-based Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) has also been on the acquisition trail but now with the full ownership of its Havieron discovery plus the nearby Telfer gold mine for US$425 million, it is aiming for the Premier if not Champions League of mining.

Execution is the critical thing for Greatland now. In the early stages, it wants 425,000 gold equivalent ounces a year out of Telfer before stepping up its development at Havieron and the exploration of its surrounding acreage in Paterson, West Australia.
