The spread is now tightening as well - it feels like "last orders" for below 130p.

I'm not sure what is going on on Twitter, but the fact is, RMM are a fully operational copper mine in a safe jurisdiction with very decent grades and a mcap of around £30m.
That's less than many explorers with a significantly worse resource. There is a lot of value here.

To answer your question from the CEY board here...
I think CEY still has two bad quarters to announce, but I'm hoping that tomorrow sees the start of the turnaround for HOC. It's not so much what they say about the past, it's a question of whether they feel confident about future production levels.
Two things make me nervous - Covid and gold's surprising weakness so far this year.

Price action is currently saying "game on".
I wasn't quite expecting that so soon.

NM gets to stay as an NED thanks to his shareholdings, that's all.
Yes, board meetings could become acrimonious with him there, but it won't actually change any outcomes.

As always, Reuters is right.
I'm not sure how the market will take the news in the short term, but I believe an obstacle to Solgold's progress to production has been removed.

A little arbitrary, that comparison, no? SLP and CEY have wildly different numbers of shares in issue and mcaps.
But I agree that platinum / palladium / rhodium miners have a lot to offer. Especially those companies that mine substantial quantities of rhodium, whose price (now $21,800/oz) is simply runaway. I also own SLP, but my pick of PGM miners would be Tharisa (THS).
And Skivee, no, my trousers are up. I don't short. I'm just not buying this "we've turned over a new leaf" spiel from Centamin. In particular, the Capital Drilling contract looks like more of the same old same old to me.

SLP has always been unpredictable on results days. Sell-offs have occurred in the past on very strong results. So, yes, anything could happen, it's true.
But, that said, SLP's share price is based not on a vague hope of future growth and profits, but on the reality of big profits being made right now. So (IMO) dips are to be bought, and peaks are not to be sold. If you look at the share price graph for the last four years or so, that's consistently been the winning strategy here.
Finally, if you're looking to compare SLP against other companies, it might be better to look at THS and JLP - they are at least in the same line of business (though there are important differences between the 3 companies).

I must admit to being annoyed with Centamin as well. The fact is that they deceived the market for years as to the true state of operations at Sukhari. Apparently we are meant to forgive all that because there is a new CEO. I don't really buy that argument; I would like all directors who were in office during the reign of Pardey to resign.
I am also frustrated by the ever receding deadlines on news from West Africa. It makes me wonder if various "nasties" are being hidden there.
Finally, I also have questions about the relationship with Capital Drilling, which doesn't seem to me to be on the level. Why employ a drilling company to strip waste when they can't even start work for half a year? It makes no sense.
In short, even though I got lucky and sold when the share price was over £2, I'm not finding the idea of reinvesting into Centamin very appealing. It's going to take more than a new logo to make me change my mind.

It's that headline again - rhodium now $21,800/oz according to JMAT.
Even if you assume that the rhodium price is a spike, (and I don't think that - it's more a case of legally enforced demand hopelessly outstripping supply), Tharisa are enjoying an extraordinary cash windfall. SLP is racing ahead in response to the rhodium price, but Tharisa is being held back, I think by a substantial seller. How long until the market wakes up to the value here? At the outside, (IMO) a big rerate will come with the financials published in the interim results in May. But maybe it will come sooner, when the seller is out or holds off.

I can understand why some people would be long on this. And I can understand why some people are choosing to watch from the sidelines.
But you'd have to be nuts (or have absolutely solid inside information that the well was a duster) to short this. The risk-return makes no sense at all.

There is already a (fairly small) rhodium only ETC:

I looked at buying this back when rhodium was around $3,500 and passed - not one of my best decisions!
I'm still hoping that somebody sets up a similar ETC for iridium (or jointly for iridium and ruthenium). I reckon that would be an excellent investment.

I'd be delighted with an instant 200% profit, which I would then reinvest in the most promising shares I could find.
I wonder if some posters on here understand "opportunity cost" at all...

Much as expected after the AGM fiasco. Not sorry to see Nick Mather go (if the report is right); I thought he was way out of his depth and that he has not acted in shareholders' interests, only his own.
I'd imagine a short term hit to the share price on Monday, but in the medium to long term, this is good news for all shareholders. Roll on a farm-out to a major of Alpala.

Well, Colin Bird's presence on any company board is a red flag - that's just a fact. The question with JLP has always been do the plusses of Leon outweigh the minuses of CB.
If I've understood the RNS rightly, three things are going on here:
1. A convertible loan has been (partially) converted into shares and the new shares sold on. That's not so good. Especially as a portion of the loan is still outstanding.
2. Leon and CB have taken a lot of shares that they were owed and sold them on. That's also not so good.
3. Two institutional investors have taken those new shares off the CLN issuer and the directors at a price of 13p. That's good.
So, for me, at best the RNS is a mixed bag. Definitely something you would release on a Friday afternoon.

I think the simplest way of looking at this RNS is that the directors have sold a substantial number of shares that they were owed by JLP. So, for me, it's not a positive.

And rhodium up again at $21,200 (JMAT prices).
Even if you assume this is just a short-term price spike in this rarest and most precious of metals, this is a bonanza that will wipe out Tharisa's remaining debts and pay off the Vulcan fine chrome plant Capex, and leave the company in a stronger position than it has ever been before.
(And there are good reasons to believe that rhodium will stay high for a few years to come.)
