(This is coming from someone who thought hard about investing in rhodium (via its one and only ETF) at $3,500, but who decided he was too late to the party when really he was still early - so take it all with a pinch of salt!)
Iridium is incredibly rare on planet earth - the total market is only 400,000 pounces per year, which makes rhodium (1m ounces or so per year) look fairly common. There is no ETF. You can buy rounds and ingots from dealers, but be prepared to pay a 50% to 100% dealer mark-up on buying and selling. It is only produced as a by-product of other mining, so it is hard to say which mining stock to invest in. SLP and THS are probably as good as any. So, I don't know the answer...
On the other hand, if you like sci-fi...
Iridium is rare on earth, but (like gold) it is reasonably common in space. E.g. one of the proofs that the dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid is a very thin layer of iridium in the geological record. There are asteroids in the asteroid belt which have high concentrations of the metal, so maybe we should look at asteroid mining...

There are a lot of shares to churn here.
If management can execute their turnaround plan and copper prices stay high then RMM's future here should be bright.
But not everybody will believe in that, so rough weather can be expected.

I do think it is worth following the South African news closely over the next few days...

I'd point out that this kind of sudden, unmotivated rise is exactly how previous placing "campaigns' have started here. It could easily be nothing more than the brokers selling to each other to boost volume and lift the bid in an attempt to create FOMO.
On the other hand, it could also be a leak of positive news.

If, like Cadell, you're invested in a share like GGP, then you absolutely need to shout about it. A lot.
It's only the hot air so created that keeps the share price aloft.

Platinum at $1,100+ and palladium at $2,350.
In other news, the South African Covid committee is meeting this morning (unexpectedly) to discuss the spread of the new strain of the virus. It may well be that the prospect of a new lockdown is spooking the PGM market and (in particular) driving the rhodium price ever higher.

Sadly, the answer to your question is that GGP is ludicrously overvalued, rather than CEY is massively undervalued. These things happen on AIM from time to time - another example of such a "bubble" junior mining stock would be EUA.
CEY is a debt free dividend paying miner with an excellent geological endowment. It's a good buy at this price. But it's GGP that is the freakish outlier, not CEY.

I share your take on this. For now, I've bought a few and I'll wait for the H2 update.
There could indeed be a multi-bagger here, if Toby can achieve the production output and head grade objectives, and the price of copper holds up. But time will tell about that.

I also think somebody knows something I don't, based on the trading action.
And that that "something", whatever it is, is good news.
To add or not to add, that is the question...

Just to change the subject, I'm a believer in the Piotroski Score which the Stockpedia article mentions (HUM gets a maximum 9).

Anyway you look at it, there is going to be an almighty churn of shares here over the next few months. I don't expect Lombard to hold, and I'm not confident CE Mining will either.

They're now rating HUM 92/99, which is impressive.

THS rose nearly 100% over two months. Yes, that was based on excellent annual results and even better prospects for FY2021 and beyond, but it was inevitable that we'd be hit by a wave of profit taking at some point.
I can't see any red flags. Yes, the rand is appreciating vs. the dollar, but the ever increasing PGM basket price far outweighs that. As for Covid, South Africa had such a bad experience with the first full lockdown (i.e. widespread hunger), that (as far as I can see) there is no appetite to close or limit workplaces again.

A little froth getting blown off the share price today, after the strong rise of the last couple of months...
But, underlying it, rhodium has hit a new all-time high today of $17,800/oz (JMAT prices).
IMO, Tharisa is still cheap as chips, as the Q1 results due soon will hopefully prove!

Once again, Quady, you prove you have no experience of mining or finance.

I mostly agree with you about a commodities supercycle boom.
But I am getting a bit nervous at all the euphoria around. Investors are leveraged up to record levels, there are record low levels of shorts, everybody is convinced the market is going up and up and up...
It's at times like these that the most unexpected things happen...

Well, I think today's news and Saga's SP action has pretty much proved my point yesterday.
Boris always a pound short and a day late - what on earth was the point of reopening the schools for a day or two, only to have to shut them down again? It is the worst possible outcome - once again. Utter shambles.
Saga will survive, but cruising restart will be delayed. So there will be a financial hit.
