FWIW, my own considered opinion is that the BOD and the institutional investors won't even look at an offer of less than 35p or so. If a rival bidding situation develops Flybe could sell for about double that.
And if no acceptable bids are made, then Flybe just carries on with trading normally (as suggested by today's circular). Short of a major recession or an unlikely boom in the oil price, it will do just fine.
Anyway, good luck all shareholders. And as for shorters, "burn, baby, burn".

Always remember the market makers can see them, and they will drop the price to trigger them (even if only for a few minutes) if they need the shares!

Not quite. DDperferformed. Allow me to point out some major errors in your research.
Flybe "slots" indeed not included on company balance sheet - for reasons which are a quirk of accounting.
The potentially very valuable Heathrow slots (now 12 of them) still need to operated for some time before they are "grandfathered" to Flybe to use freely. See Mayfield's posts here for precise details. But they are indeed real assets that any bidder will want. Also, the slots are potentially worth far more than your figures - think 100m quid +.
Flybe won't go into administration anyway - see the accounts. But, if Flybe did, the slots would be lost. So nobody is interested in a pre-pack administration.
In short, you really need to re-do your research, if your post wasn't intentionally designed to mislead.

Can I point out two things?
1. Vanadium had a history of spiking in price and then collapsing again.
2. Bushveld was once wildly undervalued - I bought in at less than 2p. IMO, it is now wildly overvalued, and many of its investors seem more like believers in a cult than rational actors. It's not really a useful comparable. More an example of the occasional craziness of AIM.

It's more than "speculation" that IAG are interested - the Sunday Telegraph is a serious paper and they are reporting "multiple industry sources". Since then, Reuters have reported the same, which means that their sources have confirmed it as well.

No, the RNS states that SR Value GmbH sold their approx. 1% shareholding, which they bought about a week ago at the very bottom. They made about 50% profit on the quick trade, which can't be scoffed at. But, IMO, they still sold too soon.

It's a technical requirement for the company's brokers to issue such form 8.5 RNSs during a bid process - which Flybe are officially in. From an investment point of view, it's pretty meaningless. You'll also see a lot of Form 8.3 holding RNSs, which are more interesting.

Standard Life now at 5.01% of Flybe. This has to be a hopeful sign...

It's idiotic to be short Flybe now, given the tiny mcap. Shorts should be closing and taking profits (if any) now, not staying open.
I can understand those who are steering clear - yes, there's a lot of risk on the table.
But to be short - wow! It's very high risk and very low return - that's not good trading!

Centamin is up, and Hochschild is basically flat, so this is not a general PM mining sector move. It's Fresnillo specific.

There is some reason why Q3 results are being held back - and it's not necessarily a bad one. It could be linked to the Mercuria T2 due diligence in some way. Or, possibly, due to negotiations with institutional investors. Who knows what non-disclosure terms Vast have agreed to?

Today's drop is seemingly due to Morgan Stanley cutting their rating to underweight with a target of 750p. The news obviously leaked out yesterday - hence the weak close.
My own personal rating is that FRES is now a "strong buy" at this price, and that FRES will benefit significantly when Randgold leaves the London market, as it will be the only precious metals miner in the FTSE100. (CEY will likewise also benefit, IMO).
But I could be wrong, just as Morgan Stanley could be wrong, or Goldman Sachs (who rate this as a "conviction buy") could also be wrong. You pays your money and you takes your chances!
