I kind of agree with that analysis, Hazrat. Perhaps not that Gasagwe is running out of ore, but that it is very hard to mine a great deal from the narrow veins each month. Think how much stripping must be involved to expose these narrow (3cm to 15cm) veins as they twist and turn, and often suddenly disappear. I know that Rainbow can afford to employ a small army of locals, who will only be too grateful for a job, but still...
As regards the JORC, one key question will be what Rainbow intend to do next. Will they go straight into mining Kiyenzi mechanically? Can the current plant handle approx 7% TREO ore and make a saleable concentrate from it? If the answer to these questions is "yes", then maybe that is the answer to achieving the run rate (and maybe more).
In the interview Martin Eales said the JORC should arrive in "December".
