You would expect experts, mathematicians etc. to be pretty accurate.

Franny I don't know, I can't remember the details except that the layman's average was close to the experts' prediction. Can't be arsed to search for it, it was just a commenr you are free to ignore.

It is a fact that, many years ago, an experiment was made asking ordinary people to predict the population of the world in 50 years time, giving them only the current population figure at the time. The average of all the answers was within 5% of the experts prediction.

J4ams, funnily enough there was a range of predictions posted here recently, and the average of all of them was £2.80.

The relevant thing about the rise is that it all happened after 3 PM and went up like a rocket. Makes me think of a leak about something that's afoot.......

CAW you don't understand this game. The spread is the difference between the buy (offer) and the sell (bid) price. If you buy you pay the buy/offer price which is higher than the bid/sell price. The spread is the market maker's profit.
