Quady, I am invested from 2013 because I believed in the project. I hold 30,000 shares with an average of 29 as I bought at various stages. However it seems a "jam tomorrow" share with target dates always missed and my faith has been shaken further today. I will consider my options but as of now still a holder. ATB tiger.

Qady, assuming the results of Blanca cores (still awaited) are good, as opposed to the "up tp" 6.8 g/t from surface samples (means a maximum of 6.8 g/t), how long will it take to progress an open-pit mine 8 km to the real target, the entrance to the Alpala block cave ?

So, to summarise, we need another PFS which incorporates an open pit mine leading towards Alpala where eventually the opening to a block cave will be established. In order to do that we need to find a deposit that is a viable open pit mine. Thus far we have no such animal. So in order to establish the viability of the mooted open-pit mine we will need a MRE on whichever deposit is selected as potentially open-pit. Then another PFS. So lots more drilling. How long will that take, given Solgolds record on such matters ?

ToS1963 I'm with you on this, drills were stuck in on a number of targets but nothing came of them, if a new PFS is required involving targets other tha Alpala they will need masses more drilling and a MRE on one or more targets, we all know how long that could take, then a new PFS, how long will that take? and so on.

Well Qady, thank you for the ridicule. Can you point out to me the near-surface deposits that make open pit a viable proposition. Thanks in anticipation.

Having been in this since 2013 and "kept the faith", I am underwhelmed by this RNS. The tone at the start is negative "the Board wishes to provide an update" rather than "is pleased to provide an update" is a warning flag straight away. Distilling the meaning from it, it appears that the plan in the PFS is simply not cost effective, and they are now scratching around to find a way of doing an open-cut mining approach to the block-cave entrance. Considering that open-cut was more or less dismissed long ago as there was insufficient near-surface mineralization, this smacks of deperation. I am not a mining engineer so feel free to ridicule my opinion.

Having reflected on yesterdays drop and deciding it was overdone, I put a buy order in last night for 20000 with limit of 20p, 2p above the close. Needless to say it wasn't filled ! Hey ho.
