Pulp, now this is total conjecture but I'm thinking about what Dmitry said in the proactive investors video about everyone knowing each other in Russia. The miners that is, of course. Maybe it's a touch of the Warren Buffets as in leave some for the next guy and if you're going to pass up an opportunity you may as well let your friends do well out it.

Unless I'm mistaken CHRI5P the RNS dated 18th August states that the placing money will be used to ramp up mining at WK but for the next mining season once the permissions are sorted (limits removed). I too think we will be sold well before then but it's a wonderful message to give out, with the prices for our basket of metals running high, that we're supercharging the diggers.

I can't call this. I would like to think the placing is at a nice price for the II's and soon after the flanks will drop along with some readjusted figures. saxonaxe, with regard to a topic from a week or so back. I asked a question of my broker Fidelity about what would happen should we be offered a mix of Norilsk Nickel shares MNOD and cash. I have all my shares in an ISA. Fidelity don't deal in foreign currency shares and stated that as such that in the event we get paid out in a mix of shares and cash, or all shares that they will sell the shares and deposit the cash proceeds into my account. Hope this helps someone.
